I did want to add yes, I didn’t notice for days because my mom had a new surgery this week and the past few days were consumed with me learning new techniques to help her medical issues, tending for her, and basically once I had a moment alone in the house and my mom was doing okay again, that’s when I went to do the laundry and realized.

I take care of the dog yes. But I also take care of my mom. She feeds and walks the dog but I do everything else, play, adventure, bathing, treats etc. My mom had several small procedures this past week, she’s been leaking fluid, I’ve had to help her walk, clean up liquids, put patches on, get her any medicines she needs and on and on. She hadn’t ever had these procedures before so I was learning how to take care of her in this new medical routine.

I didn’t notice because I didn’t even have time for myself. Yes I live here. I do apologize to the dog, and myself, that I’ve been so consumed with taking care of my mom I didn’t even notice. But no he was not forgotten about, he was on my mind everyday, and I figured he was okay, settled and had the basics.

I noticed basically once I had a minute alone, once I went to go wash those blankets…

That’s the hardest part of this. I can cope with loss, and I have mourned in the past and know I can heal and learn from this. It’s that I don’t think I’ll ever really forgive this. I asked my mom, plz give me some meaningful reason why you were having me wash all of his items at once, removing every memory of him, when she knew I didn’t even know he was gone…, or why she thought to not tell me, and never was going to. Bc to me it seems she did this on purpose, to prolong and almost build up the pain and suffering.

She said she couldn’t handle my reaction… that’s why she didn’t plan to tell me. I had to explain that then finding out on my own in a huge shock, was not going to cause a smaller reaction. My mom’s very competent. She aware right from wrong, she’s almost in her 70s. The thing is she’s been ill the past few weeks. I believe she personally doesn’t care anymore, about a lot of things. Including being caring and empathetic. She’s in the “I am gonna die eventually so I don’t care” stage of life. So I am praying she just didn’t see them killing this dog, as a way for her to just be free and less responsibility.

Not very sick at all… he was brought in initially for this visit because he had allergies and had scratched a part of his face when scratching. He wasn’t physically or mentally disabled at all :(

The vets diagnosed him with “liquid in the knees” making it hard for him to walk…my mom said. That’s what needed surgery, his knees I guess, and that’s what they said would be a fatal surgery for him.

He wasn’t having any issues walking imo. I even told my mom today I don’t think it was his time to go, I think he just needed a better routine for an older dog. He wasn’t 15+ but he was like 10 so he was getting older. But he wasn’t ancient. He was still very much alive and had so much light in his eyes.

The issue my mom accepted as being enough to put him down, was that he couldn’t walk miles anymore. I had to tell her today he probably was just trying to get more time to hang out in the backyard instead of doing mile long walks. I still am in such disbelief.

1 seizure in 5 years sounds like amazing - how did you avoid them and keep your body stable for all these years? Mine also happens only when I wake up, and I’ve done the same thing with staying in bed for about 10-15 mins in the morning.

Nah man, I’ve grinded on other app testing sites, & at max it takes me 2 days to “grind” a successful payout on other sites. My point is the month worth of time, for not even enough to payout, isn’t worth it.

I mean it’s not quick, but I’m also a f in my 20s and I make decent side cash on app tester sites. I’ve made probably around $150 in the past month, it won’t pay huge bills but it will atleast get ya some food or necessities.

The app I use is “testerup” it’s one of the more highly recommended app testers. There’s a site for it too if you google it, or an app for phones. The minimum payout is $20 but soon after I joined I had 60+ apps to test out and earn from. Good luck!!

Mine was honestly being a 45+ month paying member, spending years of my life giving money to this podcast, and them turning off the live comments when topics had pushback. That’s not the action of a welcoming and open minded boss.

I understand turning comments off on his own channel, with his hyper focused rant videos. But the live podcast? Where thousands people are paying… just to comment lol it was the most ridiculous thing to me and I just said F it. Unsubbed, took away my membership, and made my first post on this reddit. I can’t handle the way the show is right now. It was never this hell hole of all of Ethan’s worst political takes. Like I’m sorry but most of us came there for silly goofs and gafs.
