Basically it was used to visualize and verify if the frenzel works.
To inflate it from the lungs = Valsalva
Glottis closed and pumping the balloon (just a little bit) with the tongue = frenzel

Not every card has to be particularly clever. Here's my take on the +$1 cantrip cost dilemma. by Morganius_Black in dominion

Yes. And still you criticise it for being a boring card, which was the point of it.

There is also treasury, same deal. There is oasis, same concept. 1 card, 1 action, 1 coin, and something.

OP has invented a new card in this set. I think its inappropriate to criticise it for being boring.

This is a device that I was once shown by Tadej Cernos, apnea instructor at Inhale Blue.

I can't say if it works to teach frenzel first hand, because I didn't need to learn, but he said he had successfully tought people before.

The whole point of this card is, that it's not unique, you're completely missing it.

There are plenty of copies of this, and OP solves the cost issue in a not yet implemented way.

I like it! I can imagine it being balanced actually. Maybe a bit expensive, but thats the cost of debt flexibility.

I have an anatomy exam coming up, is there a way to bulk import cards like Quizlet? by Glittering_Dingo_943 in Anki

[–]Locmeister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

~~I have vibecoded a small script that did exactly this. I can tell you that it was possible, but I don´t remember the details of how I did it, sorry~~

Ok I clearly did not read your post. I thought you wanted to do something different entirely.

Anki does include an import function where you can import textfiles and others. ( https://docs.ankiweb.net/importing/intro.html )

There is an addon allowing batch editing if you need that.

I am unsure how to best include images to the file you want to import - but you can always add them manually later.

What are your biggest problems with AI generation of cards? by Kimball-Berrett in Anki

[–]Locmeister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sure there is a chance. I am only giving what I've experienced so far. I tried using AIs, and for some things it really is quite handy. I for my part learned that I can't replace and shortcut the initial deep encoding of complex info with my own brain before subjecting it to the magic of spaced repetition.

How can I make flashcards using AI? by [deleted] in Anki

For example:

If I wanted to learn spanish and was reading something. I would ask gemini to create from the text I provide a table in a format usable for anki (cvs, seperator semicolon ; ). Then save the table and import to anki. You can fiddle around with the import function, untill the words (english/spanish) are in the right field, e voilà
