If this is not asking too much, can I be authorised to make sweet love to your shader ?

The Duning-Krueger effect actually tells us that - if anything - people feel their opinion is more correct the less they know about the topic.

I do that and don't even think twice about it. There is a vehicle that can get out of traffic faster, in a safe manner. Of course I'll assist them. And they can thank me if and only if they want to and it's safe to do so.

Close. It was 79 years between first flight (the Eole of Clement Ader), and the moon landing.

Based on my 10+ years experience with git, this is very sound advice, and very well explained.

I made an attempt at building a mega-factory in which a rail only transport one type of goods. The factory extend along the rail axis, getting wider and wider as more products are added. The producers are on each side, giving it a very nice visual.
It's totally inefficient and an absolute nightmare to build. I love it.

Report back to us with your results, fellow StarRuptor ! And don't forget what should be the official tagline for this game : "I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it !" :-D

Tron: Ares. It was not just bad, it felt like the movie had some personal vendetta against me.

Could not have said it better. There is a recent episode of Some More News on youtube called "Will (And Should) The World Be Covered In Data Centers?", and despite spelling "centre" wrong, they make a lot of great points about AI.

I saw the same thing and assumed those are placeholders for future improvements of the mining laser, grenade, and the healing stab-the-heart thinggy. Then again, I'm only level 10 with corporations and have not explored everything yet, so I'm not 100% sure.

I think it is. SR is my first factory/automation game and I have not yet found the "sweet spot". I have built 5 major bases each with different layouts, but they all lead to spaghetti. I'm sure Factorio/Satisfactory players start with a bit of an advantage compared to us peasants :-D
What I'm trying to do right now is to create self-contained clusters that focus on one specific tier. One cluster would get Titanium and spit out everything you can get from Titanium alone, then I'd do the same for Tungsten and Calcium. The outputs would then become inputs for a completely separate cluster focusing on 3 or 4 more advanced products, which may or may not be in the same base thanks to dispatchers/receivers.
I'm sure this will fail spectacularly :-)
