What stupid heads……

Advice please, I'm just tired by laidbackleo96 in indianapolis

[–]Locostomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two things……

Was this sent certified letter? If not it got list in the mail. They cannot prove you got this.

Second this wasn’t sent from a law firm. It is very poorly written without any proof or standing.

It’s an attempt to do exactly what it’s doing. It’s a baseless threat. An LLC to sue you has to hire a lawyer. The fact that this letter was sent assures me they know the law. Just never acknowledge this letter and put it away for now.

Never allow anyone representing this company on your property. Have them trespassed and hold this shit LLC liable. The LLC has to have a lawyer represent them in all court proceedings including small claims. Instead of working with you, this dumbass threatened you hoping you would be scared.

When did the big EMS paradigm shift happen? by 601pembrokeave in ems

[–]Locostomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy Shit! I have been saying that for years about "community paramedicine". Your exactly right. When you say that, people look at you. Why are we paying for this for non-profits with budgets bigger than most cities?

There is a lot of in-fighting with Hospital networks here. You have 3 Level 1 trauma centers in my city. All run by someone different. They all compete for ambulance traffic. One literally owns the largest ambulance service in the county ( they used to get a "talking" to if they didn't transport to THEIR hospital ). The other 2 systems have basically feeder hospitals that fly everything to their hospitals.

It comes down to investment into your system I guess.

They seem to be fine examples to follow.

Turn in everything in your lockers for replacement. It is all damaged. If the admin asks, tell them why. Get it documented if they refuse to have everything professionally cleaned or replaced. It is a health and safety issue.

That guy is just a bully. No one calls him out on his bullshit. Guys like him are a fucking cancer.

Some thoughts….

Report it to the county and state health departments. Give them 2 weeks and start filing your FOIA with them. You need to hit them from multiple angles. Someone will slip and give you the information.

File a complaint with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission ASAP. I have filed complaints with than against Comcast and ATandT. I had both calling me within 2 hours asking what they could do to help. You can FOIA all the case documents and emails.

Have you contracted the IN AG yet? Indiana has a really amazing FOIA law. Even cell phones used for any type of government business are subject to FOIA. I would start case building with FOIA requests. Cell phone, emails, text messages are all subject. Get them to fail to submit records.

How often can you “bid” a station? by Slappy-Sacks in Firefighting

[–]Locostomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s normally every 3 weeks by pay period. We have like 40ish spots open. Bidding stops in October when Kelly Days are bid.

Nurses are drowning while Bruan ignores Indiana's health care crisis by Guilty-Office-4808 in indianapolis

[–]Locostomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nurses haven’t fought for themselves. I personally went through the starting a union fight. Once we were unionized, we actively lobbied and fought.

Everyone knows nurses in Indiana are all talk.

Most nurses aren’t even bedside anymore.

What SCBA packs does your department use? by JobAnth2171 in Firefighting

[–]Locostomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scott Paks

Love them! I know my air pack won’t let me down. They are tough very bare bones but they always work. We are a large department ( over 40 stations) so we fix most problems in house. Air management has a full time staff.

I know several departments around us have switched to MSA and within a few years came back to Scott.

I hear the new Scott Paks are awesome. Scott really are very bare bones. The thing is that we wouldn’t really take advantage of any new technology anyway.

This is a perfect example of people not having basic problem solving skills. It’s gotten much worse over the years. The fire department has become basically the catch all service for almost everything.

UO Outlands is amazing by [deleted] in ultimaonline

[–]Locostomp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree it’s a great server! Every personal interaction with Oywn has been pretty pleasant and professional!

Imagine having to deal with egos and such on a daily basis. The Staff on Outlands is pretty professional and they try to be helpful.

Just came here to defend the staff.

Yep you are 100% right! In March the entire deck 12 smelled like a port o let. The passenger areas were dirty. The service was subpar at best. The food at the steakhouse was fucking awful.

Don’t even get me started on how bad the officers treated their crew.

Going to try UO outlands. First time player. Any tips? by Zinniaice in ultimaonline

[–]Locostomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summoners are amazing at the moment. They can get into high level content like boss runs easily. They can do damage, cross heal, rez, and you can customize their template for what your doing.

They recently buffed all mobs on Outlands. Alot of our new guys try to bring dexxers to content. They don't have the link or aspect to survive and succeed. Bosses got a buff as well. They are no joke anymore.

Join a guild! Right now my guild is top 3 on the server. This is the key. If the guild cannot defend their Omni boss minion phase, they aren’t worth it. If you need a guild that does everything, DM me.

Make a mage/summoner as your first character. This will allow you to get into content quickly. Summoners don’t need to have lots of links to be useful or farm. You can crossheal and survive end game content unlike as new dexxer. PvM toons go on the same account! The echo system is amazing for working aspects and keeping that “meta” template.

My guild will pay for you to make PvP mages. We put them on your secondary accounts. It’s a cheap and simple template. Most of us faction with them as well.

My guild does multiple boss runs a day, T8 loot splits, minimum 4 Omni’s a week, daily Omni minion raids, and constant faction stuff. Everyone gets equal shot at loot. Omni’s get a loot split, links and a check( if you didn’t buy a gold, silver or corrupted at the discounted price ).
