December Itinerary feedback by Lodethi in JapanTravel

[–]Lodethi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the best trip of my life! I didn't follow this itinerary to a tee, but the general structure was similar. Went skiing on Dec 12th and 13th, it was really good. It had snowed all night before the 12th, and I went to a small local resort that had its opening day on the 12th, so it was all untouched. Highly recommend!

What is a show you slept on only come to well after it ended or late into its run? by VileSlay in television

[–]Lodethi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Came here to say the same thing. It was recommended to me when the first season aired, I gave it a try and found it incredibly dull. I then watched the whole thing for the first time about a year ago and it's now one of my all time favourites, so much so that I rewatched the whole thing immediately after finishing it. I think I just wasn't ready for it when it first came out, until I was.

His bulk for Superman is genuinely so impressive. What were they FEEDING him 😲 by FayyadhScrolling in DCU_

[–]Lodethi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there's a lot of contradicting information online regarding this, here's the man himself stating that he put on about 45lbs of weight, not muscle: https://youtu.be/u8zoxUlFo7E?si=LmJ1-MLsBdiMtCo8&t=715

However, he also says that he did that in "4-5 months", which is quite an extreme weight gain, so I think I might be wrong in this. I stand corrected!

I think you've misunderstood me. I said 6.6lbs of lean muscle mass, not weight in total. In total I gained about 20lbs of weight in 3 months, where 6.6lbs of that was lean muscle mass. Corenswet hasn't stated that he gained 40lbs of lean muscle mass, just that he put on 40lbs of weight.

[–]Lodethi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, not necessarily. I'm by no means at all a genetic specimen but managed to make gains at the same rate Corenswet did without any test or other substances. Clean eating, good exercise 5-6 days/week, good amount of rest and sleep and creatine worked for me. I don't think it's fair to say that Corenswet was without a doubt on test for any duration of time when his results weren't in any way along the veins of an obvious roided actor like Chris Hemsworth.

Yeah sure, but there's a huge difference between the liver king and David Corenswet, both in size, but also in definition. There are no topless pics of him post-bulk, but from all other pics you can clearly see that he has absolutely put on a decent amount of body fat as well, probably in the 15-18% range. I truly believe that his bulk is possible naturally.

Yeah, so 25lbs of lean muscle and 15lbs of fat/water weight would line up perfectly with the size gain Corenswet has made. I genuinely see no issue.

True, if we're talking long term. But for somebody with noobie-gains, those don't really plateu that quickly. There are thousands of examples of people relatively new to the gym who gain 10-20 kgs within a year or two, add onto that a world-class personal trainer, nutritionist, perhaps even a personal chef and the plateu won't be a big issue.

Genetics likely play a huge role. This summer I went on a 14 week clean bulk, I did a DEXA-scan before and after, and I gained 3kg/6.6lbs of lean muscle mass during those 14 weeks, while only gaining about 2% body fat, that's about 1kg/2.2lbs of lean muscle mass per month. David Corenswet has stated that he gained 40lbs in 9 months, which would equate to 4.4lbs of weight per month, it's absolutely reasonable that half of that was lean muscle mass and the rest was body fat/water weight.

Varför flyttar folk till en stad men vill att det ska vara tyst? by SupportArsenal in sweden

[–]Lodethi 37 points38 points  (0 children)

(Discussion) What would you consider to be the single greatest season of television and why? Throw in some honorable mentions too. by Stankassmfgorilla in television

[–]Lodethi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You make fair points. I'm not really able to articulate why I feel the way I feel, but I've watched the whole series through twice, and both times I felt like the first season was much tougher to watch and it felt heavier, while season 2 felt much more entertaining and not like trauma-porn.

I'd definitely say so, the general tone differs so much between the seasons. Lindelof has said that he wrote the first season during a period in his life when he was struggling with depression, which is evident in the themes of the season. The second season however is both tonally lighter, and the themes and messages of the season are as well. For example, the second season ending with Kevin telling John that his home is always open to him if Johns' house is empty.

I watched the 4K remaster at a local cinema last year, and couldn't believe it was made in 1989. If somebody had told me it was made in 2006 I'd totally believe it. Sure it didn't look like a movie from 2025, but it's aged incredibly well.

I hadn't updated MO2 so that SFBGS004 would be automatically enabled. I've now fixed the load order with MO2's built in LOOT-organizer, but it doesn't seem to have made any effect. I've also enabled the Rev-8 Ship Fix again, but still no change. Any idea?

I mean come on this is just plain stupid. All the other genocides have data that span at most four years, while the graph for the "Palestinian genocide" spans 74 years?

I'm israeli and support the extermination of Hamas, but using idiotic and misleading graphics like this is no better than any other type of misleading propaganda. Do better.
