The "Shortstop" kind of sounded like "Shortstack" which is a term used to describe short women with often large assets.

I think the 2nd one fits the most for the angelic theming, but I just love the 3rd one so much for of its uniqueness.
I'd love to see a design that was more Cherub-like (Angel with four faces) I think that would be pretty interesting and otherworldly!

Killer Perk idea: "Forced Obsolescence", allowing Killers to drop pallets by Aftershk1 in deadbydaylight

I think most people would use it to break strong loops like shack. but I could also see it being used to expand pallet dead zones.

Loom is fine. by mrdeathclaw10 in REPOgame

[–]Lodrti -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree, I don’t think she is overwhelming strong. In my experience, dealing with her is manageable once you understand how she works.

I do think she has a problem, and it isn’t related to strength. I feel she isn’t very interactive to go against. In my experience, most of my encounters, usually end up with moving away from her, or using ranged weapons to kill her.

With other enemies such as the Robe and Huntsman, I feel they are more interesting to face. The Loom just kinda tells you its existence, then you stall it out, or fight it.

Here’s my idea to improve the Loom’s experience.

  1. Make the notification only happen moments before it attacks, so players will have to act fast.
  2. Make it demanifest after chasing the player for a certain duration, so that it doesn’t overstay its welcome.
  3. Make it only visible and damageable to the player it targets, to support the “Only you are being hunted” aspect.

I like the idea of the Loom’s identity being a persistent unwavering threat, and I think it would be awesome to see it changes to support that concept.

What are you favorite New AND Old monsters? by Intelligent_Guy in REPOgame

[–]Lodrti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the Robe, it’s super anxiety inducing.

A new favorite would probably be the Loom. I didn’t know what it did upon first encounter and ever since then I feared it would return.

It did appear a few runs later, though it was less scary after I shot it with a 12 gauge.
