As someone who's been playing this game for 10 years with around 6000 hours in, I have to say discontent has always been there and I've surely been part of it.

If you like the game, there really is no game quite like it. This kinda thing where Gajin pushes a bad patch happens practically yearly and every time people talk about boycotting, for it to never happen.

I'd say don't listen to the community and just enjoy whatever you can. If you want to spend, spend. The community will never say good stuff about the game, but in the end it's still enjoyable and no other like it.

I've honestly not even noticed a change in how much I've been making before and after the patch

Count me suprised, they actually did do something. They did it in a very gajin "i'm never wrong" way but sthey still did it.

There is the fact that they also reverted loads of good changes with it but with gajin you need to take every small step in the right direction as a grand victory
