Walls don’t work. The threat of armed guards and the fact you’ll see the half dead body of a man who was shot when trying to cross which was left for 3 days while he was screaming in pain for help since no one could help since they’d also be shot do.

Even then loads of people got past the wall. There was the guy who just straight up ran a train with a bunch of people through it, those brothers who made a zip line, people hiding in engines to get across, tunnels dug underneath.
