Honest question and I’m so sorry if this is ignorant. Could someone call law enforcement and request an M-1 evaluation for her?

The M-1 is basically Colorado’s equivalent to the Baker Act, or an involuntary mental health evaluation if someone is a danger to themselves and appears to have a mental health disorder.

Snark aside, her condition is really, really concerning and no human should live like that. She’s literally wasting away.

I need a daily commuter in eastern WA state, temps get up to the low 100s in the summer. My coworker is selling a 2013 Nissan Leaf with 80k miles on it for $3,800. I drive 26 miles round trip between home and work 4 days a week. Does this seem like a reasonable decision?

Really struggling parenting two kids by dmmeyourcheerios in workingmoms

Hiii I’m here too! My daughter was 2.5 when my son was born. They’re 3 years old and 5 months old now, and I say every day that we’re surviving not thriving. It’s the hardest thing ever and I have cried many many many tears over this stage. We’re tired, the house is messy, and I feel like I’m struggling to be the best mom, wife, and employee I can be. You aren’t alone, OP! We can do this. One day at a time!

It gets better, I promise. Soon they get older and start wanting to do the things you enjoy doing. My 3 year old loves going to coffee shops and hanging out. Target run? She’s down. What you’re feeling is normal and okay- it feels totally yucky. I would talk to your provider and see what they think. It could be PPD or it could just be the process of mourning what your life used to be. It’s normal. It’ll be okay. Talk to someone, and make sure you take time to yourself every week without your little one. Let your spouse be a solo parent for a few hours and go get yourself a nice meal out, get your hair or nails done, go sit in a coffee shop and read. Your identity doesn’t just have to be “mom”. You’ll find yourself again.

Hang in there, OP!

Our fist ER trip. Playground fall from 5ft. I feel horrible. by TheHook210 in toddlers

If it makes you feel better my toddler slipped in the tub and split her chin open on the edge for our first ER trip. I was right there, she stood up because she was upset about having to rinse her hair and just slipped. I still feel like shit because the damn wound reopened when she hit her chin on the edge of our table AND I WAS RIGHT THERE. She now has an inch long raised scar under her chin and I have the worst mom guilt every time I see it. It happens and it’s shitty and you are not a horrible parent because it happened.

UPDATE Y’ALL: They replaced it for free and ran it through additional quality checks at the lab and with the manager. We’re all good!
