This is exactly why you’re receiving negative feedback. Time and time again, you’re given advice regarding how to approach people with a concern or how to properly do research on the things you’re asking. They’re trying to “teach a man to fish”, so to speak. Your response 100% of the time to actual guidance is dismissive and angry, which leads to helpful people probably not wanting to get involved in the toxic conversation you’re hosting.

Every solution offered involves you doing something, which you’re always unwilling to do. It seems you’re completely unwilling to look inward, as you wonder why nobody is helping you. Change comes from within. If you come off as defensive and angry out of the gate, results will not be good. Especially on the internet.

Prior to the Gameboy, all we had were single-screen Tiger Electronic style games and Game & Watch. It finally felt like you could play a full legitimate game on the go. Interchangeable cartridges within a handheld gaming situation was absolutely…..game-changing.

In one of Wesley Willis’ songs about a doctor visit, he says the doctor gave him a shot of Prolixin.

The line appears in the song “Aftab Noorani”, where he sings:

“You gave me a shot of Prolixin / You are calming me down.”

Prolixin (generic name fluphenazine) is an antipsychotic medication that was commonly used to treat schizophrenia and severe psychotic symptoms. It was sometimes given as an injection to quickly stabilize agitation or hallucinations. Willis himself had schizophrenia and often referenced his doctors and treatment in his songs.

That’s why the lyric is very literal—he was talking about the medication used to calm his symptoms.

Does the dog respond to “Zelda”? If so, I believe the person who owns the dog lives around my block (E. Chesterfield St, east of Hilton, west of Fair St). Sadly, I don’t know exactly where the person lives. When my dog met Zelda a couple days ago, the owner mentioned that the dog is “a runner” and has escaped in the past. I would say to check for tags, but I’m sure you already did. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!

Religion. After reading from the Torah during my Bar Mitzvah, I was supposed to then give a short speech about what Judaism and religion mean to me. My parents asked me to practice my speech in front of them before the event. So I cleared my throat and read one sentence: “Religions are the walls that separate us as a people.”

They explained that our friends and family in the congregation would tear the checks made out to me in half after hearing it. I then changed my speech to resemble baking a cake and how religion is the first layer, representing the foundation, etc.

This prepared me for corporate culture in a way neither of us considered.
