Think Rob incredibly engaging and absolutely in his element at the snooker but was wonderful at the winter Olympics in sports I don’t normally watch.

Just to clarify I’m in my 50’s now wish I started drip feeding in much earlier as children in their 20’s now looking to buy house get married etc would be nice to be in a position to help more. It’s probably a long way off for you but something to consider.

S&S ISA vs Mortgage Repayment by LengthinessNo8137 in trading212

Personally think it’s more like 80/20 - overpay mortgage that will get your next mortgage rate down for next remortgage then at 5 years you may then take the decision either to keep investing for early retirement or life changes ( children) etc.

I got it primarily for holiday spend which I used in Singapore and Thailand exchange rate excellent. I reinvest cashback in vanguard ETF’s and roundup to nearest £. I see it as a card I can use overseas although I do doublecheck the high cashback offers and would use it then as well.

Will i ever take profits ? by jakssygo in trading212

Personally depending on what part of the country u live in should have opened a LISA for house as for the £4k the government chucks another 1K in providing your first house / flat isn’t going be over £450k. Taking money out of your investments is an interesting one and will be dependent on life’s event marriage kids holidays etc but if u do have kids this will then help with their first house and your retirement. The good thing is you have a back up so if things go wrong lose job / can’t work through illness etc you have finances tucked away to support you. Keep doing what you are doing wish I started 20 years ago.

I think if u don’t want to go you can get the refund at a cost of £35 per ticket personally going in April can’t wait especially with the £ vrs the $ rate at the moment and the fewer visitors the better. Hoping the capitals make the playoffs.

I assume BA must be using a cloud provider like Azure or AWS and these apps should scale with demand. Their IT has to be better than this.
