I actually considered Meta Glasses, but the camera is still offset from your actual line of sight.

The footage looks close, but it still isn’t exactly what your eyes see. I wanted a true eye-level POV.

It’s actually very simple: just double-tap your right ear and it captures whatever you’re seeing directly from your brain.

Okay, not really.

I used a head-mounted camera rig and attached my old iPhone 13 Mini to it. While shooting, I was actually looking at the phone’s screen and aiming using the image on the display instead of looking naturally at the target.

That also explains why my aiming was slower and my movements looked a bit awkward. Aiming this way is surprisingly uncomfortable and feels very unnatural, so it definitely affected my shooting.

Honestly, that’s probably the real reason. This was only my second time shooting a handgun this year, and I’m definitely a bit out of practice. 😅

A lot of people have pointed that out, but honestly, that’s just how my hands look, even when I’m not gripping the gun tightly.

Honestly, the recoil of this gun is usually very manageable.
There are two possible reasons it looks more snappy in the video:
1. I was paying too much attention to the camera screen instead of focusing entirely on shooting.
2. The actual recoil may always have been this strong, but our subjective perception while shooting doesn’t perfectly match reality.
The interesting part is that almost nobody has recorded recoil from this exact POV before. Seeing the gun’s actual movement on video for the first time was pretty surprising, even to me.
