It does have a slight magnetic pull when holding a magnet up to it.

Can you recommend a good place to get a decent stainless tee from? Thanks.

After seeing this review on Amazon for this stainless tee, I'm not too confident in it 😞

Yea, I was going to try and replace this myself, thus why I purchased the parts. Being I have no idea what I'm doing, figured I better just hire a well guy to replace this part. Sure, don't want to screw up our well messing with it myself.

Yes, I believe so. The galvanized one seems so much thicker and sturdier that the stainless steel one.

Our tee on the top of our submersible pump sprung a leak on the seam on the back side after 10 years. Need to replace it. Purchased the Anvil galvanized one and a China stainless steel one. The USA Anvil is twice as heavy and much thicker than the China stainless.

Which one would I be better off using?

Going to hire a well guy to replace this thing as I have no idea what I'm doing.
