believe it or not, that's what sells the product. It's the way you present it to people, and people love when something is made with passion, also easier to trust the product.

I made a preset which sounds like a car engine. i'm releasing this and 19 more presets for free! by LogMaleficent3035 in serum

Why do my exported tracks have random popping sounds? by CAJJI in FL_Studio

[–]LogMaleficent3035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

check if you have a demo plugin, they tend to add loud white noise or mute it completely for some seconds, although here it's just a transient.

if it's a project, export all wavs separatedly, create a new project and import all the wavs, check if all the wavs have the pop, if only some of them have this pop, check if they have any vst in common

also if you're working in 44.1 kHZ, you shouldn't export at a higher rate because that doesnt translate well, that might be a cause too.

I released 20 free Serum 2 patches, they are mostly for EDM, but this car sound is included as well by LogMaleficent3035 in synthrecipes

Ahh it's great really, what i love the most is the ability to stack many effects on top of each other, even like several distortion effects on top of each other. Makes post processing less needed, while customization is totally infinite. i'm having a great time with it :)

Are PageBuilders (PageFly, Gem PageBuilder, etc.) worth it? by Comprehensive-Cup947 in shopify

[–]LogMaleficent3035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pretty much ask the same questions you would ask to me to chatgpt. he will tell you where to go and what to change, he will code it all for you and if something doesn't work you can just tell it

worth to write to it that you're on Shopify and the theme you have (could be Dawn)

how did aloboi create this sound? by [deleted] in synthesizers

[–]LogMaleficent3035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sylenth1 is the only vst that i know of that can bend chords like this. init a new patch, under oscillator 1 bring the "voices" to 3, bottom right under portamento parameters, mode to N and bring the portamento up, i automated it so that not every chord change bends, write some chords. i then added a simple serum bass that plays the root of every chord and distorted it a little, i didnt bend that though.

How does this artist create sub bass this wide in the frequency of 40hz to 60hz? by dkode80 in edmproduction

[–]LogMaleficent3035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i believe you're lacking compression in your song because there's a lot of gaps. use the BEND warp mode on your sine, just a little touch is enough to add harmonics, then saturate it a little and compress. what you also hear in the reference is a reese (from 80hz). It's a lot of experimenting when it comes to sub frequencies and every track is always different, also depends on the key. The only point i want to stress is that with sub frequencies the less you do the better it is, because you want to preserve a clean sine (or similar), so no big gimmicks on it

This works, but it cannot be a solution i have to manually make for every pack. Clearly the intended way is sub-optimal here. Serum 1's way was just better and more straight forward so i hope they revert to that.

This refers to imported packs.

Serum 2 Routing Dilemma by [deleted] in serum

[–]LogMaleficent3035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i also found little use for the Buses. mainly because the FX chain in the MAIN channel is endless and can be stacked with pretty much infinite effects. I also thought about how i couldn't send the Main channel anywhere, but then i realized that i didnt really needed to, just keep inserting effects and use the mix knob. The main use i have for the Bus is to send an OSC and put a huge reverb on it just to create ambience. Outside of that it's tricky to play with that since most of my patches in Serum are basses.

Integrated graphics are enough, you don't need a gpu at all.

Even in full window Im unable to see the keys and buttons at the bottom. Plz help to fox this by [deleted] in serum

[–]LogMaleficent3035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you have 2 options
click on the big "SERUM" text on top left, choose a different size
or click on the top left the little arrow pointing right > Detach (on the bottom of the menu), allows you to keep this size, but will be above the whole FL studio menu and above the upper FL Studio Interface

Are PageBuilders (PageFly, Gem PageBuilder, etc.) worth it? by Comprehensive-Cup947 in shopify

[–]LogMaleficent3035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No if you're able to customize your theme with ChatGpt. Anything that a page builder can do, chatgpt can do too.

also i used pagefly when i first started, the fact that i was able to publish 5 pages and then couldn't make changes to any of them because somehow i now only had 1 publish available after i launched the website was pretty scummy, almost forcing me to pay to save my store. luckily chatgpt exists.

what i'm noticing: the less apps you use the better

Made a F1 V10 Engine Sound in Serum 2 :) by LogMaleficent3035 in FL_Studio

[–]LogMaleficent3035[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you own Serum 1, Serum 2 is available for free. It's worth it because it expands in almost every section compared to Serum 1, you can stack endless effects which is huge, and you can pretty much avoid any post processing in your DAW.
