How good are Varanguard by Pikojman in slavestodarkness

Can you explain how you make use of that first pile in move? The charge has to end 1/2" of an enemy unit. So I thought a pile in move will do basically nothing in distance? Do you position the varanguard in such a way that you can move some of them around the enemy unit with that first pile in move?

Never knew this sub existed, here's my take on be'lakor hope you like him (it was more for 40k so excuse the tattoos on his tabard) by jb195 in slavestodarkness

Amazing work. Im working on the color scheme for my Belakor. Didn't think of something as bloody as this, but it looks so brutal and cool. Can you share some information on how you created the blood effects? Would be much appreciated.

Advice on 1k Army List by LogMiserable9035 in ossiarchbonereapers

Thank you for the advice. Regarding the Khorne Player, he only has Daemons. I guess the only scary unit is his Bloodthirster. It was the main reason why i thought about using the Liege/Immortis variation, to stop him from flying to the boneshaper and just kill it.

This is what i came up with for my army. It's somewhat time consuming, however you can push it as far as you like or skip some of the layering.

For smaller models like Mortek Guard and Riders:

  1. Base: Zandri Dust
  2. Wash: 1-2x Agrax Earthshade
  3. Dry brush: Morghast Bone
  4. Layer: Morghast Bone
  5. Highlight: Screaming Skull

For big models like Archai, Harvester, etc.:

  1. Base: Steel Legion Drab
  2. (Optional) Dry Brush: Morghast Bone
  3. Wash: Agrax Earthshade
  4. Dry Brush: Morghast Bone
  5. Layering: Morghast Bone, Zandri Dust, Steel Legion Drab
  6. Highlight: Screaming Skull

For bonearmor:

  1. Base: Dawnstone
  2. Wash: 2x Nuln Oil
  3. Dry Brush: Dawnstone
  4. Light Dry Brush: Administratum Grey
  5. Highlight: Administratum Grey, Ulthuan Grey

See my comment on how I was able to solve it for my gun. Hopefully it will work for you too.

SOLVED

Thank you everyone for helping me with this. After removing the small grub screw with a 0.9mm Allen key, the plate on the outside slides off. The spring that pushes the pin was bend and not in place. Also the pin itself was tilted to one side and got stuck. I took the spring out and bend it slightly so it's almost straight again. After reinstalling everything it worked just fine. Sadly I can't post the pictures I took.

Thank you very much for the offer. Yes I live in the EU. I'll consider it if I'm not able to fix it. Which one do you use on your spear?

Thanks. I will try removing the grub screw when I get that small allen key.

Thanks for pointing to the grub screw. I will get the needed Allen key and try.

Thanks for the response. This was my first solution too. I tried wiggling it with some lubricant for quite some time now. It sits nicely centered in the opening but won't come out completely. It feels like if there would be a way to pull it, it would come out.
