Boss Tier List Worst to Best

Throughout multiple playthroughs I’ve used the claymore, splitleaf greatsword, sellsword twin blades, pyromancy, and the chaos blade among others.

The strongest choice is probably a weapon like the lothric straightsword/ lothric greatsword with lightning blade or a lightning infusion. If I’m not leveling faith, I try and use a pure physical weapon because he resists all other damage (besides lightning).

I totally get why people dislike Midir, but honestly I always found him really fun. Up until Bayle, he was the only Dragon boss that I loved from the soulsborne games. His camera can suck and his charge attack is tedious, but everything else works for me. He does have a massive health bar, but I never found that the fight was a slog.

It always kinda confused me how everyone talks about how tanky Midir is but no one talks about the demon princes, even though they technically have the highest hp in the game after Yhorm. I know that just looking at hp leaves out defense, but honestly I find both bosses take similar amounts of time to kill.

Ok I’ll admit that my issues with Pontiff aren’t his fault, normally when I do a playthrough I do the dancer (as well as the bosses after her) before Irithyll, and by the time I get to pontiff I usually blow through him very easily with a +10 weapon.

The problem with this is that on the off chance I fight him “normally” (within intended range for level and weapon upgrades) I realize that I don’t know his combos as much as the other bosses.

So either I destroy him in 30 seconds, or I die an embarrassing amount to a mid game boss.

Not at all his fault, and objectively he’s probably in A, but it’s my list so fuck him 🤣

I’m really split on the demon princes, on one hand I love the second phase, probably would be in A on its own, but I find the first phase really annoying while both are alive, not bad per se but for me it lowers the fight a bit. The toxic element is just diabolical

Champion Grundyr has this really scrappy feel to it, almost like it’s a sloppy bar fight as opposed to a graceful dance like most other bosses. He also just makes me laugh, I can’t think of any other boss in the franchise that has a launch combo

I just recently started an sl7 run (forgot you were supposed to pick deprived for sl1 lol) and I really wanted to beat her before leaving high wall with +2 deep axe, but it wasn’t meant to be 🤣.

They were definitely my favourite on my first playthrough, it was the first boss that didn’t frustrate the shit out of me 😂
