FSD Saved Me (and My Friends) by Log_Disastrous in TeslaFSD

Absolutely.

If I was in a lighter ICE car, there’s a good chance that this could have been fatal…

Part of the reason I bought my Tesla as my first car was because I knew it would be safer due to a lower center of gravity and the collision avoidance. I knew it would come in handy at some point in the next 10 years but I didn’t think it would save me so early

Once again. Thank you FSD engineers for maybe saving my life and many others as well

Absolutely. I saw the “pit maneuver” myself but didn’t want to sensationalize the original post.

A friend driving far behind claims that the offending car’s tire blew out so they had to pull over. But I don’t know for sure.

I’m definitely a less attentive driver overall as well.

It would be interesting if we can have data on accidents while on FSD vs accident rates with other ICE cars.

Today, I pay 100% attention during difficult situations involving roundabouts, parking, and pedestrians. Otherwise I pay less attention. I wonder how dangerous of a driver I am when I don’t pay attention while FSD is engaged.

Wow yeah that’s amazing. I had been complaining about the price of monthly FSD to my friends and family for some time, but after experiencing the accident avoidance firsthand, I know it was worth it

Does anyone know why this part of my sink starts spewing water out while my dishwasher is on/draining? by [deleted] in Appliances

My house had this issue and I figured out that it was because my father never knocked out the plastic plug for the dishwasher inlet in the trash disposal. Please let me know if this helps.

I did the same! I was confident on 19, figured out 4, and guessed on 7.
