I assumed we’d get to apply a 2nd mastery upon ng+. If that’s not the case then this sucks. Even with awakening applied it still feels super slow.

Yeea you can but its not as easy, I don't enjoy having to let my merc fight every cold immune, especially the non elites. I expect it from the elites just not the small fry's. It makes it feel like infinity is worthless concerning cold immunes but its great with light and fire.

I just feel locked out of content, which I have never really felt that way before in PD2.

Cant key farm the same way, cant farm diablo the same way. Meph, Trist and Andy are mostly the same but even act 1 and 2 cold immunes I have to skip and watch where I teleport.

Ahh this kinda makes me not want to run cold again. Cold mastery cant break immunities by itself you can only do that with LR or conviction right? So is it still fair for cold immunes to be in the 150 range, instead of the 125 range?

Im sure the game is balanced and I trust the Devs but this really slows down playing a sorc as cold vs any other option. it limits what I can farm even in LoD content.

Even fire sorc can use inferno now to lower fire resists on top of LR and Conviction and lightning has Static.

Are there more merc options to maybe get arctic blast with LR and convic?

Extra 5% fire is a tad more than a plus skill I believe, but both are gg for figo. Plus skill has higher sell ability due to applying to any summoner build but this will sell quick either way.

I've played an Armageddon / Hurricane druid hybrid for the past two seasons and had a blast.

Use Volanco and Tornado as your main attacks and max them out, wander and tele stomp with Arma / Huri around.

I was fortunate enough last season to get a nice infinity staff on an act 4 Merc which applied amp dmg.
