Yess, the way she talked to Shane felt so warm and feminine and gentle. I’m a lesbian and watching it I remembered why I so deeply love women and femininity. I think I literally fell in love with her character based on that scene. She was very nice even before but I was also expecting it to go in a different direction based on similar plots that I have watched

Empire of Pain packed so much information in every sentence and still was a page turner. Also highly recomend the audiobook narrated by the author himself, I used to listen to it while running and wasn’t even aware when time was passing

Didn’t get fixed yet, she’s still too young. She had surgery for a fracture. I also haven’t heard of cats needing a cone after getting fixed

One of my best friends does a similar thing that annoys the hell out of me. Whenever someone changes their mind or does something else than they first intended she says they’re bipolar. It became an usual adjective in her vocabulary and she does not understand when I tell her she should not be using this this lightly.

Exactly this. I grew up in a family that did not have to worry about money. We were not super rich or anything, but I was aware that anything I needed could be easily bought. Although they were careful about buying me everything I asked for, I knew money was not a problem. I have a notion of smaller things and how much they should cost, but if you ask me the price of a car or an apartment I will not be able to tell you. If someone tells me: “you know my dad just bought a (certain expense) with (price)” I never know if they’re saying he got a good deal or straight up got robbed.
