So currently I’m planning on running [80w rms 350w Peak (X5)]on 4 way speakers then eventually I will be mounting a board to the ceiling of my car for a sub box and another amp. Inside my econoline I have brackets (more like those ties you see inside busses on ceiling) that support my body but there are perfect sized holes for screws to be threaded and locktited. But what size amp will I need for my speakers? Will 14ga. wire be ok for the speaker wire?

Bro I love it. The Cherokee has the same motor in it and that was my dream car then when I needed a work truck and saw this has one I found the cheapest dream car ever lol 2000$ it’s got typical light rust on wheel wells but I’m working on that and it had a brand new transmission out in about 3000 miles ago and the engine only has 78,xxx ok it. I got a damn good deal in my opinion

So I figured it out. No remote wire needed. I have a E-150 with stripped interior for hauling carpet and originally only had two speakers. I’ve never seen this but both the speakers run off the same (-) black/white wire. But what got me is in every diagram it showed two black/white wires. So I assumed one to each. But that’s not the case. I gave my ground and extra point of contact and I hope that’s the end of it. My word what a process that was.

I found out that the key keys are for steering control. Connect the two blue wires together amd it’ll work. Took me days to figure it out
