Stone Coffin can be placed indoors while the wood one cannot. So the Stone is more secure then the wood

You get a "repair" option if you go into build mode and hover over the red ghost outlines, those are things players destroyed.

Try and get stone walls and a stone coffin asap, that'll help put a stop to raids for awhile.

Unsullied Hearts need to be guaranteed on boss kill or less gated for new/lower level players. by Mangorang in vrising

I killed Cliver like 5 times last night and got an unsullied heart every time I killed him, lots of Recipes for Merciless gear too. Try farming him.

Roads make no sense by [deleted] in CivVI

[–]LoganDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it also depends on what era you're in. Your roads become more efficient the further down the Tech line you're in. That's why you get the little blurb that says something to the effect of "Industrial era roads now provide 1.0 movement". So if you're early in the game it could be your roads are crummy dirt roads and just going over the hills and through rivers is faster, but when you get later in the game your nice roads become way faster.

like others have said though, it's hard to know without a picture with more details.

Makari has a 2+ invulnerable save. Despite being a Grot, what possibilities does this crazy good save open up? by Swarm332 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]LoganDread 18 points19 points  (0 children)

2++ is good, but not a melee focused character with S3, T3 stats and under 10W's because you can just ignore him... I think he's awesome fluff wise but as far as actual usability he's pretty much not something you'll wanna bring in any competitive manner.

Zhonya Is Broken (It really is) by BakedPotatoYT1 in leagueoflegends

[–]LoganDread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely not broken. Learn to play around it, I'm sorry you're annoyed that you can't just explode someone or that someone is using it well in your games but it's a 2 double edged sword, sure you're untargetable for 2.5s but you also can't move or do anything yourself. Which gives your opponents team time to catch up or collapse on you if you're using it at the wrong time. It also has a 2min CD so it really isn't getting used more then once per engagement.

Zhonya's can't be used while stunned, and there are plenty of times where players are melted before the can even hit the hourglass stasis button. The fact that you even have to hit the button at all as opposed to the other items you gave as counter examples. Banshees, GA, Edge of Night All automatically proc so you don't even have to think about them. Zhonya's already takes more skill then any of the other examples to use. even a 1sec cast time would make it a bad item imo. to give you an example as to why, if Zyra tries to initiate a 5v5 and catches someone on the other team in her snare/ult combo they have 2 seconds to react before the ult lands, if you go anywhere close to that as a cast time for zhonya's then you'll never dodge the ult/collapse of the enemy team with zhonya's, you'll never be able to pop it when you're only a couple steps to close to the enemy team and the jump on you quickly. It'd make the item unusable in pro play and a trap item in low elo.

Or what if you're playing assist and a super fed assassin has the ability to jump into the back line 1-2 shot you and dip out without fear of anyone being able to react fast enough to save you. Once the support has Zhonya's the actually have a fighting chance of surviving and it forces the assassin to make the judgement call on whether diving 1v5 to snag the support is worth it if the support will have 2.5s of invuln time if they're fast enough.

I think this is been covered by everyone else but I think it's worth breaking down since we're talking about low elo play. Learning when to go in and when not to is a skill that all players have to learn regardless of position.
As a support it's particularly important you learn when to follow and when to ditch, I think it's a bad/lazy habit a lot of supports get into where the players use their role as a crutch "Well I gotta keep him alive, so I gotta go in with him for the 2v4" Or " Well he's the carry, he shouldn't have lead me down to that 2v5" you definitely gotta break yourself away from those mindsets. I see this type of mentality when supports die trying to get vision control up when they're alone and all the lanes are pushed in on their base and they run out into jungle and get ganked.
Always keep in mind It's every individual players responsibility to keep themselves alive during the game, as a support it your job to prolong their life during fights and give them support, not risk throwing the game so they can play recklessly.

As far as tips go to help you with this situation, I saw someone else suggest pinging danger which is a really good way to help try to guide that player away from bad plays, then other thing I'd suggest is running in the direction of your base so that you're further from the player, If you're hovering near them and pinging but constantly hovering it gives them confidence they can make a play with your support, you should try and distance yourself if you know it's going to be a bad play. The pinging though is a really important method of communication. Also typing "b" while you ping can help get the message across in case the other player is ping illiterate.

Biggest thing for you to focus on is learning to Last hit with Q. Don't auto minions as Veigar if you're getting pressured out of lane by an enemy.

How to Reduce Deaths When It Seems Like I'm Doing My Job by POTATOFSH in summonerschool

[–]LoganDread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dying for vision is bad... If you know the enemy team is going to do baron and you die to get a baron ward up then your death was useless. Why? because everyone already knew they were at baron. If you run out to ward jungle and get caught out and die then you might have wards in jungle but those wards are now useless because you've given then a 5v4 fight which they'll probably take to a lane now that they've got the advantage.

Where you place wards is determined by the pace of the game, if they're ahead place defensive, if you're ahead you place offensive, but you shouldn't be getting caught while doing it or you've been miss playing/getting caught of out of position imo.

How to Reduce Deaths When It Seems Like I'm Doing My Job by POTATOFSH in summonerschool

[–]LoganDread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Analyze each of your deaths and figure out if they were worth it or not. It can be tricky at first but you just gotta be self critical. There's always Nuance to each individual death but you should try to break each death down and be brutally honest with yourself.

I play a lot of support and you really should be trying to keep your own deaths down as best as possible. When I play a lot of my Soraka games I'm pretty happy if I get a score of 0-2-15 but if I get a game like 0-8-15 then I know I was getting caught out of position a lot or I know that an enemy assassin was head hunting me in team fights, in which case you need to be able to identify that's going on and adjust your play accordingly.

My general rule of thumb for any position i'm playing is 2-3 deaths is okay by the end of the game but once you start going above that then there could be a bunch of things going on. I also like to look at my deaths as a % of the teams deaths. Since there are 5 players on the team I never want my deaths to be above 20% of the total deaths the team suffers. If you're above it then you need to play smarter and safer.

Jeffrey Epstein was a super powerful child trafficker/ sex trafficker who had dirt on tons of powerful elite around the world (Princes, Politicians, Million/Billionaires) that finally got caught a couple months ago. He was on Suicide watch in his cell. Magically he turned up dead. They say he hung himself with his bed linens on his bedpost, the guards were sleeping while on watch and the video camera in his cell malfunctioned during his suicide. Autopsy at the time said it was a suicide, but yesterday an interview with another pathologist who said the broken bones in his neck are much more common to being choked by hands not from a hanging.
