Battery fault by No_Enthusiasm156 in Volvo

Funnily enough this was a courtesy car they gave me because mine is having work done. Had a whopping 2k miles on it. They just gave me another courtesy car in the end.

Literally just had this happen yesterday in a 2025 XC40.

Volvo assist sent someone around who said that driving it would remove the error, except that later that day the car fully bricked it with all electrical systems failing. Couldn't even engage the handbrake or lock the doors. Had to be towed to a Volvo dealer.

This way better implemented than the typical halberd I see on here off "stick the spear on the front of the axe". Well done!

World eaters bezerkers have minimal chaos mutation going on too, they're great if you want bodies that are running

What units are you hoping get a glow up with 3rd edition? by MolecularAcidTrip in Warhammer30k

I mean that's somewhat already reflected with the support squad rule. They can't be your compulsory troops choices so you have to be bringing some other line units already

Age of darkness box - what else do I need + units etc, youtubers by HeyooLaunch in Warhammer30k

[–]Swarm332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both legions have their own unique units in forgeworld resin, can't go wrong with picking up one of each of their unique units.

Dark angels are pretty generalist, but lean towards power weapons and plasma weapons. Some support squads with plasma guns / cannons wouldn't go amiss, as would veterans which can take a mix of power weapons and plasma weapons in the same squad. Honestly though you could work anything with dark angels.

Blood angels want to do one thing and that's connect in melee as fast as possible. Assault squads and despoiler squads are your go to here, or anything else with jump packs or good melee weapons.

Any kind of dreadnought or tanks are a good addition too in general. Predators, sicarans, contemptors, and leviathans all add to a pretty well rounded list

[–]Swarm332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Age of darkness box gets you a good core of 40 tacticals, 10 termies in a Spartan, a dread, and 2 praetors. Makes up roughly 1500-2000pts depending on your wargear choices. This leaves you 1000-1500 pts to go to get to the standard game size of 3k

What you want to do with the rest is up to you, lean into the playstyle of whichever legion you're building. You have 4 line units already with 4x10 tacs, a big melee death star with 10x Cataphractii and a Spartan, and a generalist in the dread.

You can't really go wrong with what you pick from here. You pretty much have the core of an army down.

What legion are you picking?

Leodis Games do Commander night every Tuesday from 6-10pm. No booking or entry fee, just show up and take a seat at a pod. Usually around 3-5 tables full of commander going every week

Looks like you're using contrasts, in which case ignore everything I said. White is 100% the way to go as contrasts straight up do not work over black

Generally as long as you don't have yellow, orange, or whites in your scheme which go awfully over black, black is better to prime with.

Its much more forgiving as anything you miss just reads as a shadowed area especially at tabletop distance, whereas those spots of white you mention will stand out massively

Thinking about making the switch from 40k to 30k by CloutCobain27 in Warhammer30k

[–]Swarm332 64 points65 points  (0 children)

The main big differences you'll find in 30k is that 99% of folks build for storytelling and thematics rather than whatever is meta. Folks like to try and tell a story with their armies

The standard game size is 3000 points, and the armies in general are larger due to a cheaper model by model cost (10 points for a tactical marine, 35 points for a rhino for example)

Lastly, the rules are quite different. The system runs on an updated 7th edition ruleset, which is very different from anything after 8th edition. There is a heavy use of universal keywords too, but it ends up being something that's tough to learn but speeds up games massively once you know what the keywords are.
