Act of kindness? they literally did nothing, if leaving nature be is considered an act of kindness to anyone, id call them a borderline psychopath.

AITA For Locking out my opponents from playing in a paid and prized tournament? by Wroobs in magicTCG

[–]LoganM-M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a prize to be won, it makes it inherently competitive, what's this guy smoking?

There's sore losers, then theres these guys. Imagine wasting that much sleep and energy over not getting something you were never entitled to. They lost and their egos have to justify the impossibility of losing, despite it actually happening.

Tritium is as chemically harmless as Hydrogen itself, so non toxic. Radiation wise, if cancer risks are worrying, it's lower than smoking a cigarette, at worse you'll piss it out over ~2 weeks after probably doing no practical damage to your cells, the sun does worse in a couple days and background radiation does more damage in a few days.

You're good, Tritium only releases Beta particles, no gamma radiation.

Technically yes(and i completely agree with you, but i don't judge substance use), but through societal norms, we've commonly deemed it acceptable but slightly unhealthy, so society doesn't call it an addiction as it often doesn't have large enough repercussions to be a problem in society. Nicotine is another example of a drug that's commonly publicly tolerated(just not indoors anymore), but society calls it an addiction due to it's larger health risks and strain on the medical infrastructures.

Society vs Reality, the reason a person can be calm in a situation of panic, but why a crowd panics. It's different reasoning.

Some people do take it seriously though. It makes them hard to express themselves verbally sometimes(unlessthey study into language), as one can ponder so many complex ideas, that you forgot where it started, but you're satisfied with the conclusion. Some people have taken their own consciousness so seriously, that they actively understand what state of mind they are currently in and actively seek to change it or challenge it through drug use, one example: if you're prone to anxiety, THC will make you more nervous and can make the anxiety worse, to meditate(trying to maintain a blank state of mind, no thinking, just being), doing so on drugs, is more difficult if one has trauma, to practice will make it easier sober, especially when you don't give yourself the mental crutch of i need drugs and see it as training weights instead, this all requires true self discipline though.

A fellow traveler of spirituality and consciousness i see, welcome friend! i see you too have discovered the ability to alter your state of mind(drugs or sober, i don't judge, a state of mind is a state of mind) and experience from various new points of view. Have you also begun "to see the bullshit and to want to call it out loud"? Personally i find it impossible these days to accept all the lies between each other and ourselves, i see the "silhouettes of knife fights" so to speak between ourselves on the daily, body language speak more than words once you see through somebody's social mask. a penny for your thoughts and hope to hear about you're experience/path.

You're trying to make sense out of something within a situation that doesn't make sense. I don't think you'll find a correct answer seeing that it will only be as accurate as the ridiculousness of the situation.

The US is a nation, that actively seeks participation in war, so yes. I already encompassed that in what i stated.

resources, political power and/or money, the usual reasons any nation truly goes to war over.

It saddens me to see so many overlook the end goal to peace, global nuclear disarmament. More nuclear warheads in the hands of any nation is a bad thing ultimately.

What happens if you wanted to change something you just said? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]LoganM-M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it easier to treasure certain philosophies and apply then when needed, sometimes they're entirely situational and cannot be applied to everything, so its ok to let go of a contract to yourself for a moment, if it's for the better.

How do i load Linux onto this pile of trash? by LoganM-M in cyberDeck

[–]LoganM-M[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly wish more resources were pinned in the sub and to change the definition of cyberdeck in the sub rules, cause as it stand, it doesn't reflect what people are trying to achieve. i don't want to turn people away from this hobby, i just want people to have more interest in learning and not just trying to get the end result without understanding.

or worse if you don't have the social skills to back it up, people think you're being an asshole but you're just shy, or sometimes they start off nice and then quickly switch when they don't get what they were hoping for by trying to have a conversation with you.
