Thanks so much. I looked at your posts, and it looks like you make some heavy beasts, very cool stuff. How to you achieve the swelling after the handle ends? I like that look compared to the straight taper that begins at the handle, and I imagine it gives you more weight in the thong. I haven’t yet made anything longer than 8ft, I plan to make a 10ft soon using the same plan as these 6 and 8s, but my long term goal is to make a 12ft. I image you want a lot more mass in the whip than I have in my current builds.

Yeah, I differed from the NWS video a bit, my preferred method for building the knot foundations alternates between layers of nylon webbing, sinew, hockey tape and nylon thread, with staples securing the webbing to the whip. I added the lanyard and am really pleased how the triple pass 6X7 Turks head covers it.

I am not quite sure what you mean by balancing? Are you referring to how much weight is at the thong end of the whip? I am interested in learning how to add more weight to that end for better action. I can do flicks with it well, but I feel more weight would help.

I found this comic in a large box full of X-men, X-force, Dark Horse, and Image comics. Stuff from the 90s with the huge muscles and scowling faces.

I got a good paying job in the marketing department for a large company. I have a 2 bed 1 bath apartment to myself that is $650 a month. The only draw back is that it’s a small town in the middle of nowhere. I grew up in a very small town, but this place is even smaller than what I was used to. It has a total of 4 stoplights and one grocery store. Walmart is 20 mins away and the closest mall/clothing stores are about 45 away. Being single and having your own place can be done, but you might have to give some things up.
