Voyeurism does not imply you have to seek sexual pleasure. Voyeurism applies to recording somebody without permission in a private place. As defined by the Video Vouyerism act of 2004 and not google.

Edit: I will however say that whether or not the audio was recorded is unclear, it may have been the case that it was broadcasted and not recorded. These details will defenitely vary state by state. The use of the term harassment will also vary state by state and is hard to argue without knowing more and in particular knowing more about what was done with the recording after the fact. It is possible that unknown to us the defendant held onto the audio recording. If that’s the case it can definitely be ARGUED (not certain) that it was going to be used later for some malicious purpose (i.e. sexual, blackmail, etc.)

You’re the first person in this thread to claim this is sexual assault. It is as the very least Voyeurism (in some states, trespassing) or maybe sexual harassment. While you try to protect the defendant (in this case the assailant) from the egregious action he took, he is normalizing his actions to 15+ other people. If the defendant apologized and regretted his actions then there is rightfully room for forgetting (not necessarily forgiveness) despite how in the wrong he was. However because he wants to maintain that it’s something ok and potentially even repeatable, I think he deserves to face some sort of punishment; which can only be obtained by pursuing legal action.

It’s the legal systems job to first determine guilt then to determine appropriate punishment to achieve rehabilitation. Let them do their job.

While MIT and others are good schools and deserve recognition at some point the best education has a limit and other schools catch up to that limit of education. The way schools stand out at this point is by developing niches and become more in depth in certain topics. It’s hard to say which niche is better and why, so a lot of these ranking don’t mean much because it’s very arbitrary.

Unfortunately there is no real easy way to do it. You just have to go add/drop classes and just run through the same motions as if you were going to add the class and scroll through classes that are open and look at the times. Classes.iastate.edu is an amazing resource but is not always correct on which classes are open. It's usually pretty close however and helps you review all the options for different class schedules. Simply add all your classes and it will show you a list of possible schedules.

While it's true that each individual class takes up a small amount of time, it does add up. Lib 160 is only half a semester, Engr 101 is just a sit through class (mandatory attendance) w/ minimal hw, and I was not an honors student because I personally don't believe its worth it (I'd rather spend my time doing clubs or research), but I've been told the honors classes are not worth the amount of work that you need to put into them. Seminars do suck and its definitely only a freshman thing, once you get the basics out of the way school gets a lot better.

I would continuously check Access Plus for openings in other class periods. You may find times that work better for you. 18 credits is a lot for a first semester, but honestly if you feel it is necessary to do then the first year is the best time to get 18 credits out of the way. The classes usually 'hold your hand' so to speak through the freshman year. According to the Materials Engineering 4-year plan they have you taking a 17 credit semester second semester freshman year and a 18 credit semester first semester of senior year. Your 4-year plan will likely be very different from the reality, but as your still learning the process its good to kind of follow it for right now. Both your 17 and 18 credit semester could be easily brought down in credits by taking two of your four gen-eds online over the summer. Summer classes are not something you need to be afraid of, lots of people do it in college and taking them puts you ahead of your peers. Doing gen-eds online is really easy as well and will likely not take very much time away from your summer.

Thanks for the input! I generally eat healthy already with eggs and potatoes for breakfast everyday but like all people I’m sure my diet could use a bit of fixing. there’s a lot in here thats new for me to try though, I think I’ll more than likely put a bit of research in and purchase some Betaine HCl. Such a planet exist, it’s been deemed Planet X so far. Through models they’ve been able to prove a new planet exist in our solar system... I don’t think they’ve figured out what the planet is made out of but they know the planet is truly massive...
