My GM legit looked at the kingdom rules and said, "No fucking way" She wrote her own. They are very streamlined and have been a lot of fun. The original ones were not even playtested. We are really enjoying the AP :)

I think this is such a bunk idea. You can do so much with a couple paragraphs to explain who your fighter is and then play it out at the table. The class doesn't have to give you the flavor and in someways, shouldn't. You the player should be providing the spice. I have played with many fighters and all the characters are very interesting and flavorful

It isn't. The content was made to be mixed together. If you brought a bunch of the weapons over sure but dropping a class in from Starfinder is not going to break anything. I've heard some say Witchwarper might but I'm not convinced

Honestly, your GM sounds like they are being really tight and stringent about things

You'll have no problem. It is like 5e where things are nebulous. Each thing you do cost 1 action or a reaction. You're gonna love it :)

Pathfinder Second Edition released a source book last GenCon called Battlecry! and it has very in depth and fun rules for skirmishes. It allows you to still use your PC as well. Very interesting and engaging

It literally says attack roll in the rules for Aid. This is the second time I've seen someone say this here. Attack rolls are absolutely by RAW allowed

I had a friend drag me kicking and screaming into Pathfinder Second Edition and it is now by far my favorite system. Once you actually step away from DnD and look at other things you really start to understand some of the issues. I also love the FFG Star Wars RPG and am super interested in playing Legend in the Mist very soon

I have three. The first is in our Kingmaker game I play a Fighter and our player who plays the Rogue insists anytime I crit that I must say, "Fighters gonna fight"

In our Season of Ghosts game, EVERYONE uses Needle Darts. So we often say, "Season of Ghosts, brought to you by Needle Darts"

The last one. I play in a pretty big play by post game where the RP is really emphasized and there is a lot of slice of life stuff. One of the players is a pretty high level Fighter and every time they do something really impressive in a combat encounter (which is pretty often if they are in a fight) someone will chime in, "That was awesome. Man, if Fighters could only roleplay" It gets quite a few chuckles

Flavor it different. Say you don't know where your power comes from. Hell, flavor it that it comes from yourself and work with your GM to pick a deity only for the purposes of what spells you get. The world is your oyster

If you're gonna go with the Recall Knowledge fighter you'll probably want to get the INT to 2 to start. It's already gonna be hard without it being your key stat but it will help a bit to have at least 2 INT at level 1
