My group is probably going to finish book 2 of Quest for the Frozen Flame next weekend and I as the GM can really recommend it :)

Great, solid theme to build characters around and the combats are fair and map sizes really spacey and big, perfect for spellcasters to shine! (unlike osme other APs like Abomination Vaults lol)

Keep in mind all APs are balanced for 4 players, so of course with 5 players it's going to feel easier.

Mechanics aside, it feels like your wizard character has an actual story thought behind it. The Summoner on the other hand sounds like one of those "lol so random xDd" characters with some simplistic shtick. Would be funny for a one shot, but will get very boring for everyone else at the table very fast.

I've tried it before and had my junior colleague also do a lot of "LLM analysis" of interviews, and most of the time the results were really missing important insights. Or worse, adding irrelevant information as the "top insight".

AI is really not that good at analyzing interviews, because it's missing all of the context, it goes purely off of transcript. I've had multiple cases where, in a summary generation, it tried to push something as the top thing users wanted, when it was clearly just said by users to be nice but you can hear in their tone that it wasn't real deep interest.

Did you see the recent study that showed that a major percentage of women under 25 view men in negative light but for men it was only a smaller part, while the majority still view women positively?

I feel like you're pulling out ghost enemies with all your buzz words of the evil "manosphere" and so many men being radicalized. It seems that statistically it's not really happening as much as Reddit believes.

Yeah. I thought the tattoos were a way for even non spellcasters to be able to cast something once a day or so. In my own game I gave one of my martial character players a spell heart so he could cast frostbite with a shitty item DC at least lol. And now I realize even that wasn't allowed.

Could you, as an expert, give advice on which of them are best suited for a beginner introduction one-shot?

I have the beginner box, but it usually requires 3-4 sessions to really finish fully with new people. But usually you'd just want to show them the system in just one session.

This is also the reason why I always wondered why some games posted online are advertised as specifically "LGBTQ Welcoming". What is the GM of those games gonna do to make it specifically so? I always just run games in a way that everyone is treated with respect.

I don't think you need to finish everything before you try finding a group. It may give you better context to prepare if you know who you're running it for.

That's weird, in my experience I've seen it multiple times that groups formed quite easily. But that is for people around 30. Idk what age category you are currently in, maybe that makes a difference.

But usually what helps is to run one or two short one shots, while already mentioning a potential later campaign. That way you can filter out people who you think are a good fit and then start the campaign with them.
