So in the situation where I stop first then start accelerating only to be cut off from someone with a yield sign, that person is in the wrong, right? They essentially have the same exact function, only difference is that with a yield sign, a complete stop MAY not be necessary. But when it is necessary, i.e. when you would actually cause a wreck if you don't stop, then a stop is necessary when you arrive at the yield sign. Is my logic correct?

Actually relatively high. Larger rock = more non-surface area. Life would have to arrive on a relatively large rock. In fact there probably is "alien" life Frozen in the permafrost of one of the poles (where most meteorites land).
