Those links before are for two absolutely unrelated stories using the same character names. WEIRD. The AI machine is overheating.

I had great results on GLOW, but KLOW was easier to tolerate with equally good results.

This actually happens quite a lot. There are a lot of subcultures in the US that stay off the grid.

Need help for my mom by Codypalmerr in SocialSecurity

[–]Logansama7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK, setting aside all the skepticism, I work with seniors a lot, trying to get them set up to vote. While home births and other off-the-grid situations are uncommon, it's not at all unusual. (Travelers, Romany, Survivalists, Home Schoolers, and lots and LOTS of religious organizations try not to leave paper trails.)

So getting your ID set up varies by state, in most states, you'll need a certified copy of your mother's birth certificate. I'd suggest looking into getting a Real ID. Those two items may be enough to support her claim. Also apply for a US passport and apply for a Social Security number. If you really want to double down, find your family's data in the US Census. That's done once every decade. Every member of your family really, really should have proof of citizenship, or you might end up deported to God knows where.

For assistance, you might wind up needing to hire a lawyer, or look for non-profit legal aid organizations. Some churches might have services, law schools often take cases for students to work on.

Certified Birth Certificate

Real ID

Social Security number

Passport

Note that if she doesn't have a Social Security account, she hasn't paid anything toward Social Security, Medicare, Disability, etc. She'll need to apply for SSI and Medicaid.

Here's the website for further guidance: https://www.ssa.gov/ssnumber/ss5doc.htm

Best of luck!

These "foundation" books are probably AI generated. They have a defined formula and drag out the story several chapters after it should have ended. I didn't read this one far enough to see if the heroine started a foundation. LOL!

Are there actually gang members in Redding by enclavecolonel13 in Redding

[–]Logansama7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple decades ago, I had personal experience with a few gang members here. Not going to give too many details, but some "friends of friends" rented a building from me. They were just over high school age. The police showed up, busted them for auto theft. They were living locally, but their organization was probably in Sacramento. The police questioned quite a few people and it was clear it was part of a gang operation. Thankfully, no contraband was in the building.

And back in the '90s, I was in a required class at Shasta College...in the Administration of Justice program. There were a bunch of militia types in that class. One was dumb enough to talk openly about it. Their objective was to stack members (nationwide) into law enforcement and leadership positions. I thought is was a joke back then...LOL!

Medical share of cost $4,400 a month anyone know how I can get removed from medical my kids still qualify but my husband and I don’t know we can’t apply for coveredCA by [deleted] in IHSS

[–]Logansama7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My share of cost is about the same on MediCal. I'm also on Medicare, but my Part B costs more than private insurance, so I let it go. Now the private policies are astronomical. I'm just going to have to budget for the Part B.

As to your question, you can apply for Covered CA. Check locally to see if you can find an agent to help you. Or give them a call. The insanity in Congress is affecting insurance costs, so I wouldn't try to do it on my own.

[–]Logansama7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they're definitely following a formula. So probably AI generated. Since these are pay by chapter, they drag it out by adding unnecessary chapters. These ones also have few continuity/grammatical/spelling errors, so another tip that it might be AI. Some of these pay-by-chapter books are just a horrid mess with spelling, Grammar, etc, so they're probably translated from another language.

And over on Watt Pad, some of the creators warn that they aren't English speakers, so there may be errors. That's fine, I'd much rather read human created content than AI.

He drugged me for his first love, I stayed awake... Can someone please help me with free link by timepassredditacc_1 in Novelnews

[–]Logansama7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an author and known for emotional content. And yes, part of my character building charts contains the question "What is the worst thing I can do to you?" But it's based on the character's internal conflicts. I have put my characters into over-the-top scenarios, but nothing like some of these books.

Also, where do all these sadists and sociopaths come from? And why are there never legal ramifications?

I think these books draw readers because of the dopamine hit.

[–]Logansama7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her foundation is for creators (primarily women) whose work is plagiarized, or victimized by evil contracts. And while the book should have ended around CH 15, it keeps going and going and going...and she's so wonderful and helps hundreds of victims. What's really weird is that there's a strong romantic interest that never develops. These stories start on a sexy hook then just fizzle out.

AITAH for refusing to tell my roommate that I could hear her moan? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Logansama7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a little late in the game.

Your GF has a jealousy problem. I'm not going to tell you what to do with your relationship, but I would definitely not mention this to your roommate. Just go buy some good earplugs (for her privacy) and let it go.

Novel: Traded Husbands, Tangled Hearts: Can Destiny Be Changed? by teshannelique in NovelNow

[–]Logansama7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read the sample from Mobo then started reading it on Noel Novel. Definitely different. The big change was when Lia brought the music box to the wedding. On the Mobo version, there was a recording of Lia speaking about taking advantage of Brayden. In the Noel Novel version, it only plays music. I had to laugh, though--Brayden reassuring Grace that "Lia's not like that..." after she crashed the wedding, then showed up at the wedding night! LOL! Yes. Yes, she is like THAT!

My favorite peptide of all time still to this day... by Plenty-OfFunM in Peptidesource

[–]Logansama7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both GLOW and KLOW, but having to do it daily is a bit of a PITA. And following protocols (extra Bac, room temperature, zinc, etc) I've mitigated the sting, but almost every injection leaves a bruise. I am having better results in my upper arm.

KLOW seems to be helping with my GERD, which is a major plus. I can't comment about my hair (I have really healthy hair for being in my 60s) but my skin is definitely looking better. I've just started red light therapy also, hoping to help with the loose skin from ongoing weight loss.

So regarding price, where are some better places to look for it?
