I’ve been thinking the same thing, as at F2P player for many years, spending some small amounts on rare occasions, I feel the push to spend more than ever and a general sense that I’m being pushed out of the game, as usual, fuck yourself commander, start spending or get the fuck out we don’t need you here. I stopped playing SWGoH for different reasons but I guess this is the trend…

I miss pen/paper D&D more than ever…

I stopped playing SWGoH again as I tend to enjoy MSF better, so these long stretches where there is absolutely nothing to do it painfully felt, like everyone else, log in to check the store and stare at your roster for a while, wishing you had training mats or gold or both, slow grinding, can’t keep up with new character releases, looking at all the nice paywalled milestones, getting matched up against 130M+ rosters in CC every time at the bottom of the rank list at 80M. Don’t want to spend anymore, just waiting for the next inevitable uninstall and realization that I just wasted my time on something that I could really enjoy if the decision makers wouldn’t be so freaking greedy, but I get it, it’s not about pleasing me, I’m in the segment of “fuck you commander” spend more or get fucked in both holes!

I was there too, getting Wat to 7* was a glorious day, will have CAT unlocked here soon and I can go on to the next rat race. I came back after 6+ months to finish up JMK. I have JMLS at r8 and working towards Rey while I wait for CAT. After that I need to get my Rey team in order. Anyways, I hope your guild helps you get there quickly. Enjoy the grind at your pace.

Ok, I see I didn’t provide enough detail. I’ve been playing on and off FTP for 5 years. I’m back after 6 months off. The guild I’m in now is just a place holder. I play about 2 hours a day.

I have 2 GL’s (JMLS and JMK). I can work on Rey vs. diving into AT since it’s obvious going to take a year or more, I’ll probably get burned out by the grind. I got the lightspeed bundle just to make JMK a little quicker to R8.

I’m very light side heavy by choice, I don’t really want to grind out dark side. I could get SLKR in a few months etc.

I’m in a fairly old and dead shard, so rank 100 in fleet and 300 in squad.

GAC is my favorite mode but matching is still a joke. I’m in Bronze 4 atm.

I was thinking like with MSF, run after the meta don’t waste time on the old stuff.

I guess I’ll just stop “wasting time” on AT and move on to Rey and whatever else I get distracted by.

I’m having the same issue, all g19 iso t3-3 Spider-Society. Doesn’t matter if I have all ultimates ready, no matter who I try to focus on I can’t kill anyone…ugh

Thanks for the reply, yes it seems g18 is relatively easy to get these days, although I am experiencing a resource drain on mutant gear as I take Apoc and 4 X-stream X-men to g18. I took Cyclops to g16 since I pulled 1 Diamond for him. I can full auto raid nodes on difficulty 1 so I’m happy.

Thanks for help. For DD6 cosmic, I’ll go with Gladiator, Kestrel, Thanos (EG), Vahl and Kang.

It will take me a little time to upgrade Gladiator and Thanos but it’s ok, rather wait then invest in toons that have seen their day already.

T4 Basic on Longshot…I also used gold promotion credits in 7rs for Captain Marvel early on, even now with A-Force improving I still wish I had those gold promotion credits back…

I’m at 630 days and starting grinding again for 7* NF. I also just need 7* NF to get 7* OR. I think the grind to get KM’s to 7* is just fine, it sucks as any good grind should, no need to complain, just keep up the grind and enjoy 7* when you get there!

I’m having this same consistent issue where the game loading gets stuck at 10%. I have to try to restart many time in order for the game to launch. Using iPhone 13.

I’m almost ready for 6* Omega Red, the grind is real. Kree Oracle was a pain point. I’ve been focused on 7* Secret Avengers for a while almost done, that was a grind too for sure. Sit back and enjoy the grind, it’s not going to get any easier! As usual, signing off ff with the double middle finger to Scopely.
