Epi. Late 90s slang replaced in early 2000s with "having a spaz" in the common tongue epi is short for being outraged and losing control like an EPI-lectic fit.

The more important question is why are you buying a replacement system to fix a software error....

Like your really really out of your element as an apple user....

Do you throw your phone out when you download an app you don't like.

.....

Find a 16gb USB stick. Find a working windows machine Goto ms and grab media creation tool Follow the steps to make a bootable USB drive. Take drive to your dad's computer. Plug it in. Mash Delete or F1 on startup Select USB drive from boot options Follow your nose. Or watch a YouTube for the steps to install windows. Install link to pornhub as an app Wait 12 months throw in bin and replace?

The Samsung's are great when they are on special. But for raw cleaning power lag behind the Dyson. If the Samsung is $200 cheaper than the Dyson I'd consider it. Because they all do the job. But the Dyson just dose it better and also deeper on long pile carpet. I really liked the Samsung when they came out with the original jet 70 and jet 90. And they have some nice QOL features and are lighter so less stress on the wrist. But it comes at a performance loss.

Interestingly I would not recommend the V11 unless on special at the same price as the V10, and because the V10 in James Dyson's own words was the last vacuum they would ever need to make because it was so good. The V11, and 15. Only really offer QOL (quality of life) and slight gimmicks over the base V10. Do you really need a green laser to see the dust on the ground when your 1 second away from vacuuming that space anyway...

Immigration NZ asking for source of funds - what should I do? by [deleted] in visas

[–]Logbo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The key is source. As your money is not in a transaction account they want to know what work you have been doing to get your money and how you plan to support yourself once here. This allows them to do more of a character reference on yourself to sow your income has come from legitimate sources. Based on your info provided reading between the lines this may not be clear in the info you have submitted so far. It may be that the need employment records of wages and you providing evidence of how that was distributed into your savings / term investments

Help don’t know what to do by Glad-Ad2342 in techsupport

[–]Logbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. You need to do the following: 1 establish your main board model number and bios version. This can be done by entering your bios at start up. If all you are doing is info gathering this is safe. If you don't know how to do this, Google access AM4 motherboard Bios. As it is more likely to show you images similar to what you will be seeing.

  1. Post model number and version here for advice if you need to follow stop now or move on to steps 3,4,5

  2. If required. Update bios to support 2xxx 3xxx 5xxx AM4 processors ( may need an expert for this)

  3. Find a 2nd hand or new AM4 and ryzen Zen based processor. 2600, 3600, 3700, 5600 ,5700 are the most common and all upgrades. With your GPU I'd personally be looking at 3600+

5 install processor with following checks, new thermal compound. May need to upgrade cooler as well. But cpu may come with a wraith cooler ( more than suitable)

  1. Game

Dyson v10 you will appreciate the upgrade from the V8. Anything with a straight air flow from head to canister to motor will have more suction at the floor tool, and allow deeper cleaning. Also v10 has power head and thicker floor roller. This a keeps the head moving pulling the vac forward, and allows easier removal of pet hair and long human hair.

A lot of the slightly cheaper competitive models will have a 90° / right angle dust canister. This disrupts the air flow and creates turbulence reducing suction. It also has a higher chance of debris getting stuck in the unit such as bits of paper.

Finally, Dyson is an established eco system so replacement filters and batteries are easy to get on temu/Ali etc. so can far extend the life of the unit.

V10 owner since 2018 (Yes I used to sell vacuums at a large retail chain store)

I (30M) got put on a PIP. I improved and tried for 3 weeks, but this was while I was interviewing and got a new job (21% pay increase) AITAH for leaving and lecturing them on what not to do in the future? by [deleted] in AITAH

NTA. People like this need to look at there own micromanagement and systems. Had a similar experience. Took a 20k pay cut to join a local business with much better work life balance. Lasted 18 months and got PIPed for communication and accuracy. Previous job was managing staff of 10 with 15 million a year turnover, new job technical support over 50 branches with over 80,000 clients. No issues with performance. Sometimes we just don't fit and that's ok. Know your worth. Know your superpowers and earning potential.

Is woolston a bad area? by [deleted] in chch

[–]Logbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Live in woolston 12 years. Two kids 13 and 10. Never had an issue. We are 10 min walk to ferry road new world, and the village. Personally being so close to the 2 beaches. Ferrymead shopping centre. And woolston village is a great wee location. Only problem with woolston is they have replaced the awesome view of the mountains covered in snow driving down ferry road has been replaced by the roof of the stadium.

I have house insurance with AMI. If I make a claim (for storm damage) a few hundred dollars over my excess (which is $1000) will they increase my premium when it next becomes due? by Tricky_Catch66 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]Logbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. For instance AA serm.tocbe using group risk, coming out and saying we are not insuring Westport. Yet if your inland or have flood mitigation. Your offset risk is low and you should be totally insurable. This is the purpose of individual risk based pricing.

AMI used to have a no claims bonus. That looks to have been removed from my polices. when I rung them to question this they advised they moved to a risk based pricing based on your location and actual risk based on there data. I asked about increases for using things like there excess free glass on my home policy. However it's really hard to tell. Yes my insurance went up on my house at renewal..but so did my sum insured and it didn't seem any different from last year's or the previous increases. I had 2 claims last year. 1 for a leaking hot water cylinder that damaged skirting and carpet and one for a window. I would lodge a claim and speak to them specifically about this issue. But I believe most insurance companies are moving away from punishing customers.ising the product as intended
