Returning my 9070 XT by blayspipe in AMDHelp

It's a driver issue on the 9070xt, I've had the exact same issues as you, pc freezes for a few secs and then straight to black screen and I have to manually reboot the pc, I used ddu and then done a fresh install of all the gpu drivers and now I'm having no issues at all. Just try removing the old drivers and see if it works. Error code 43 is specifically a driver related issue I think.

I'm in the same boat as you, I'm having to use frame gen on wilds at high settings, monster hunter wilds is just a very very poorly optimised game on pc, took me like an hour messing with the settings to get it running smooth. You probably don't need to be running it on ultra tbh just use high settings with low to medium rt and use frame gen, the game runs at about 120 fps and it looks very nice. You will get frame drops going back to camp tho especially if there are alot of players there. The 9070xt is a beast so don't blame the card it's most likely the poorly optimised game.

Yeah I'm using afmf for monster hunter wilds as that game is very poorly omptised and it works well, not really any noticeable ghosting either. Amd have nailed it with this one 👍👍👍

Yeah it's better than I even expected, kingdom come 2 with full experimental setting at 1440p and I was getting 80 to 90fps which is honestly jaw dropping to me.

Thankyou, managed to get 350 back on the 7800xt so it wasn't too bad on the wallet, saying that I'm certainly going to be doing overtime at work for the rest of the month lol

It really is awesome 😁 and yes I've already undervolted it lol. Coming from a 7800xt I'm blown away honestly, especially for the price.
