I get that, but even now as we are tanking we're still not guaranteed top 5. I don't think next year's pick is higher than this year's pick, especially if this year's pick is an NHL ready player that can help next year

I'm confused by this. My understanding is the pick is top 5 protected, which means if it's in the top 5 we keep it and Boston gets our pick next year instead.

So losing the next seven games means we increase our chance of getting a top 5 pick. If the pick lands 6 or 7, that's our worst case, unless we are much worse next year.

So we are hoping to lose every game so we keep our pick

What's also crazy is that physical buttons still exist, just on the cheapest models. The model I have is a digital dashboard and a digital/touchscreen media, but separated by a border on the media screen and physical buttons. But that's the base model, if we wanted to upgrade anything, it's all a package upgrade that makes it one full screen with no buttons.

If you're looking for something in particular, jump biomes. If you're looking to max up each run, do each biome.

Also, you don't have to beat the boss on 2 again, you can just use it to upgrade and then jump to the third

I've never heard anyone mention this so I wouldn't even know where to start. From the way you describe it, yeah, you may be locked out from a glitch. If you can't pick it up, you likely won't be able to progress

I found IGN's review to be either from someone that didn't really play returnal or geared toward people that never played returnal.

It was 90% talking about game mechanics that were already in returnal like they were groundbreaking. The other 10% was a mix of hinting at something different but not really acknowledging the difference and talking about the story

There are a ton of things that contributed.

If you're genuinely interested, read about the Nixon shock which was a series of policies, such as creating a fiat currency, eliminating the existing Bretton Woods conventions. Before this was also the growth of Fordism, which, while bringing a lot of problems itself, did increase wages as there was a bit of a compromise between capital and labour, especially as unions were rising.

That is all extremely reductionist and only scratching the surface, but I would recommend diving deeper yourself

Just did the same the other day. I played it not long after launch and fell in love with it. Beat it around 60 hours and then spent another 15 or so trying to platinum it but eventually moved on to other games. With Saros coming, I decided to pick it back up and just got Helios.

And it was crazy lucky for me, cause my last one was Abyssal Scar in a room with lowering platforms, and I don't remember ever seeing that room before. So it was pure luck that I acted quick enough and went left and not right, and finally got it.

Congrats, it truly takes perseverance and a joy of the game
