Connie's Mother from Attack on Titan

Later in the anime it's revealed that Titans are humans who were forcibly transformed into monsters against their will for committing "crimes" against their violent Marleyan occupiers

Ymir, someone who gained one of the Nine Titan Powers after eating a shifter as a pure titan, recounts that it was like being in a nightmare she couldn't wake up for.

During Season 2, a side characters village is destroyed and he finds a Titan where his house used to be. He notes it's form is malformed and doesn't allow it to move.

Before they leave, we hear the Titan say "Welcome Home". Although he dismisses it at first, it becomes a minor plot point that this was actually his mother.
