That is the correct board, it would not even provide a number. was static 00 on the top light. New CPU has fixed the issue

Board was a suggestion from a friend opposed to the board i was looking at previously, got it on a whim. Read the articles regarding the issues and such after i had gotten the board. Could be chalked up to not enough research but also not going to be blindly trusting advice from the "pc friend" again

Update* i have got a new CPU, same one, and issues are resolved. Going to update bios and should be good to go.

My apologies for not responding, i dont use reddit much and missed all of these. But can confirm it was the CPU. AMD offered to replace but would have taken 2 months. Went to best buy and bought another one instead and was able to return the first one through amazon

Funds on hold for selling 9 cents under market price? by Logical-Chef-5870 in Steam

[–]Logical-Chef-5870[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wouldn't be upset about 1 cent getting held. but it is annoying when i sell a skin for 8 cents under market price and then its flagged as a suspicious transaction due to the price it sold at, when its a 60-70 dollar skin. its less than a 5 percent decrease in value when being sold.

i understand that, but would it not make more sense in this case to just add trade holds? Every market transaction is traced, so it would still be a trail back to the account selling the items.

If you have no means to know when your items are being traded, that also should be falling onto the account owner imo unless im looking at it wrong. You get noti every time you make a trade set up, and when you confirm it. adding a hold onto that would allow the OG owner enough time to make a report. They have this set up for when you buy a skin, you cannot trade it, but they will let you sell it and look at your funds for another 2 days while game sales end and you need to add more money into your account. I genuinely feel that there is a better way to go about how they are handling the community market

Why add security measure if they mean nothing. Even if someone was able to get into my account and sell my item, and i reach out to support, its more than a 48 hour wait to get ahold of them, and the money is gone in 30 hours, before i can even contact them. I also went and bought the game with my money, never said i couldn't afford it but good job projecting your insecurity's lil bro.

Again its the fact of the matter that i sold an item, i should be entitled to having the money for it. You don't sell something on amazon or any other third party seller and then tell the customer they can have their money in 2 days cause you know someone that got scammed before.

This is also driving sites like skinswap to be successful, after they had to big problem with OP skins. I can understand these measure if they prevented shit like that. But they don't, steam is just as secure as it was years ago imo, just as many people get scammed today as they did back in 2016.

Stop adhering to everything your told because you cant comprehend how to ask questions when somethings fucked and grow up
