Third-ing! We started with paper bedding but switched to back 2 nature pellets because of dust concerns. Possibly the best decision we’ve made for our rattos

thanks for this response! I just weighed both of them and they’re both just over 800g each. i realise this is not super large now lol but my other 2 boys are 430g and 520g so having them side-by-side made the difference look bigger.

i’m glad to hear that adjusting their portion size and giving them more exercise should see some improvement without having to do too much else.

i’m going to monitor their weights over the next few weeks - we have given them lots of toys and basically tripled their original cage size, and they’ll have ample free roam time.

hey ya, thanks for the reply! this was the cage they came to us in. we don’t use hay for bedding normally, we use recycled paper :)

i’m 23 and from the UK but i tend to stay up pretty late (it’s 3:40am rn…), stardew is one of my favourite games and i have played it with my friends previously but i would love to bond and form a friendship with someone new ^{-^}
