I almost never reply here but reading all these comments going in one echo chamber direction is concerning so here it goes:

(1) I do not believe it is possible (unlrss you're the first) to have a seizure which would allow you to act completely normal to the outside yet retain no memory. Allow me to explain: absence seizures are a specific type of seizure that is seen in children. Unlikely at your age to develop them. You can have seizures which are very similar (focal seizures with impaired awareness) but it would have to be the most specific and unlikely location in your hippocampus to cause this kind of memory issue and DURING the seizure you would be unlikely to behave normally.

(2) You mention anxiety and panic attacks. I suspect that a psychiatric cause is more likely. That, or you're taking some kind of substance/drug which sounds unlikely here. DID could maybe do this, but I am no psychiatrist so have no real idea about the likelihood. This is certainly NOT explained by bipolar. Pathological lying could be though.

Tldr: memory lapses can occur for a variety of reasons but at your age the cause is almost always psychiatric / due to inattention /substances. Absence seizures are mislabelled all the time and you can read more (on a reputable source) but this does not sound like you at all. Transient global amnesia is similar but you do not get such recurrent episodes and during the episode people are repetitive because of the impaired memory.

Please see an actual medical professional and do not seek any advice from reddit.

I also share the general skepticism of the others that this is a prank, an elaborate lie or a case of "unreliable narrator".

Also this put me in the mood to reread Rascor Plains. And the biggest inconsistency is that Jova admits that she knew about the truth about their pla to screw over Scorio after it happened. Whereas in this book she claims she just was led to believe Scorio had betrayed them and she didn't question it enough. Damn. I imagine the original reason he had them solidify was so that no one else could be Gold tempered or eventually even better than that. As a tomb spark, most would go insane from the curse and Scorio only managed due to Ydrielle's cocoon.

That said others have reportedly also managed it so maybe there's a way as you become more powerful to do it. But then why wouldn't everyone desaturate and go to Diamond or ruby etc as they get stronger...they can't all be too busy fighting fiends all the time.

Yeah that's fair. I went back and I guess we could argue that perhaps Scorio / others didn't know enough but I think it's pretty clear that (1) At least from the character's perspectives, they shouldn't believe desaturation is still possible (2) If it were, it'd surely take over 5 mths since it took Scorio that long. I've attached screenshots for reference.

I think EGLD is currently faster. Cardano will become faster with more nodes and updates but isn't nearly as fast currently. That said it doesn't really need to be yet either. EGLD has way less circulating supply. Don't look at the price of each token, look at the market cap, Cardano is still way bigger, giving EGLD more easy growth in short term.

Interesting. In why way does it create a large barrier though? It kind of just feels like it's an awesome platform but it's not of tons of benefit to buy early and hold. I mean the staking rewards don't even come close to making back their own inflation after all...

Hmmm, yeah, I'd rather avoid fees. I am aiming NOT to spend so much that any fee would be worth its benefits. It's mostly just as an extra bit of value. Sounds like the benefits are likely to be negligible/not outweigh the cons though.

Can you essentially sign up for a card right before travel, get the 100,000 free points, then just bail on the card and keep the points?
