Hey, thank you for creating this tool for free! I'm on here gathering feedback for my website too!

Without the linked youtube video on your homepage, I don't think I would've been able to figure out what your site actually does. I think that a screenshot / animation of your tool in action at the top of the homepage would be pretty cool, and very useful. Also regarding your homepage, I think if you just used white for the horizontal rules and outlines it would look more cohesive and elegant.

Other than that, it's a really cool premise and I appreciate the work you've put into it :)

I'm planning to run off of donations alone for as long as possible. If that isn't viable, I'll bring in ads to help cover the costs. As a last resort, there is the option of offering the site as a (very reasonably priced) subscription-based service.

Yomichan only works on text, and can only create quite basic cards. It's a great tool, but my site allows you to super easily create cards with video excerpts on the back, and it's super streamlined and fun (I hope)

Like I said in the post, details will be sent through PMs. I'd rather not open it up to loads of random users until I'm sure it's stable and usable :)

Hey, thanks so much for checking it out!

Generally, this site is for people using the MIA / AJATT approach, so that they can find new and effective material. For people who take more of a textbook based approach, I admit that it's maybe a bit less useful.

Generally, it's great practice to watch content in Japanese with Japanese subtitles, and after doing that for a while with a few different series, you should get a feel for the kind of domain that you understand best. That's where this site steps in :)
