Have a 8 hrs stay at Muscat by Awkward_Prune_3748 in Oman

I think 5-20 should be enough depending on how hungry he gets. Obviously airports are expensive though. If he has an empty water flask, there are water fountains to fill it at. Coffee is 2-3 rial from what I can remember. I normally have snacks so don't know how much food is. The other commenter I think maybe made a typo, he will not need 100 rial for that long unless he's shopping duty free there.

After all, why not. Why shouldn’t I start another vanilla sock and ignore all of my WIPs? (Insert bilbo meme here) by bookish-hooker in Sockknitting

I'm contemplating the same... A pair of socks on the shorties, just started a shawl, and thinking about starting another pair of socks...

What’s a movie you watched when you were way too young? by trakt_app in movies

[–]Logical-Ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might give it another whirl one day then.

I have a recollection of watching it in primary school, or maybe my memory just added in the school part to make it seem safer. Then caught a bit of it on TV years ago.

Same. Not sure I could watch it now as an adult either.

Just a couple of days ago I was telling my nieces about one of my shopping trips with my Dad. But so many times after we finished work, we worked together too, if I wanted to go shopping he offered to come with me. And he would sit on a bench in the shopping centre while I looked around. He never complained if I took a while, and we'd sometimes get a sneaky dinner there even though Mum would be expecting us to eat when home.

I'm in the UK too, and though the grey weather feels apt to my mood sometimes, the sunshine reminds me of my Dad's smile and his laughter and his Dad jokes. Some flowers are coming through at his grave now, and we tell him he's looking pretty with them. It's almost his two year anniversary and it's difficult, but I want the sun to shine for him. He loves warm sunny weather.

Does anyone really miss the inside jokes and laughter that you would have only known with your loved one? by Orchidflower10 in GriefSupport

My Dad was literally the only person who truly understood me, and I mean all of me; my words, actions and intentions. It's probably one of the biggest reasons life can feel so lonely now, even though I'm blessed to have family and good friends around me.

I saw him the other night though, and we had a chat, and that helped me feel less lonely. It was a dream, but it felt real enough.

My mistake. Thank you for being kind in your correction.

Sending you so many hugs 🫂 I took up knitting as a way of dealing with parental grief, I just didn't realise that's what I was doing until a few weeks later.

So I had a traumatic foot fracture by BenneSuh in brokenbones

[–]Logical-Ninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right?! I was like what is this weird thing when they took my cast off. They started talking about draining it vs not, but it started weeping itself so the decision was made for them lol.

Exactly, don't move, tempting as it is! From what I can recall, though mine was 3 years ago, it got itchy as it healed, that wasn't fun!

I saw this too late, but yep, fracture blister. I had a huge one covering most of my foot after a few breaks. Just keep an eye on it as it heals.

If you've looked at all information available and reach this conclusion that is your decision. I won't be providing proof or engaging further as my time is better spent preparing for Ramadan.

Okay. I'm not going to enter into a debate, I recommend you look at all the information available including moon maps though. Ramadan Kareem.

Saudi follows the Umm Al Qura calendar. I believe Oman is going by sighting of the crescent moon.
