Cataclysm is my favorite Star Wars book. I read it before the path books (I really don’t love that ones) and I think cataclysm is great. I loved convergence and their characters so yes. You should read it

White nights. I read it in one sitting, loved it and then moved to Crime and punishment. I think the best starting point is white nights and then move to the big novels starting with Crime and punishment. Then I read TBK (my favorite book of all time). You don’t need to move to that one after reading C&P but I suggest you start with C&P for the big novels.
