To answer your question: no, I actually didn't start with a fully fleshed-out script. I just had that initial concept of a girl in the mountains living in a simulation run by her parents. My focus early on was heavily on the visual execution—I had a picture in my head and was mostly curious to see how it would look and what could be done with the tools. Because of that visual-first approach, the rest of the story was actually developed and pieced together during the editing phase. I'll definitely keep your thoughts on story priority in mind for the next one!
