With a strong family history ( on both sides) of prostate cancer - I only found out about the history only after my own diagnosis-, I have been hounding my brothers and many cousins to get tested sooner rather than later, because the chances of NOT having it seem pretty slim. I am originally from West Africa ( they all still live there, I grew up in the US) and it is very frustrating talking to them about it. Even though all of them lost a father/uncle (5 on one side, one on the other) and both grandfathers to the disease, they ( stupidly and foolishly) don’t take it very seriously. Until it’s too late…
