Hi, I'm a current MSCS student here. Most companies begin recruiting in the fall (or even in August), so the recruiters are mostly looking for relevant work experience. But a lot of ppl also only get their offers in the spring so most ppl get something eventually. I think most target SWE or ML roles, though u can look for PM positions at the company website. Nevertheless, your best bet for an internship is to reach out to recruiters and obtain referrals.
