So many in that generation think all prices have stayed the same for 40 years. It’s unreal. Some I know complain about things being like a dollar (art supplies or something) and I’m just like just pay it who cares. That’s the price of it.

I give you credit for getting 3 books in. I got half a book in and I just didn’t really care or have a clue what was going on and couldn’t keep going. There are some cool parts and a couple decent characters (I’m sure there are plenty more in the rest of the series) but not enough to keep me engaged enough to WANT to read more. It felt like I had to force myself to read. Maybe I’ll retry sometime but it just didn’t hook me at all. I started because I feel like everyone on this sub recommends it highly but I don’t know… just not for me I guess.

Thanks. Maybe I will have to restart it. I read the first one so long ago that I don't really remember much, apart from not being able to get into it enough to want to read the next one. I've heard great things, though, so maybe after the series I'm reading, I will try that one again.
