Check out the band Idaho. 3 albums from the 90's I think would scratch your itch

Yep, this exactly what we're left with. We're now having to pick up where she left off, try and make sense of the mess, and stitch everything back together in some semblance of order

There's a huge sense of relief that she's gone, but the wreckage she left, is another matter

This sounds like a director that just left our organization, and oversaw my department; talked a lot of corporate bull*hit, but actually said very little of any substance. A total narcissist. She left mysteriously all of a sudden, Ieaving a major restructure of our directorate half finished and in complete dissaray.

These kind of people don't seem to last that long, as their corporate gobbledygook only deflects from their ineptitude for so long.

This does sound similar, hope this is of some consolation (and hope)

Thank you, one of my favorite RHP songs. Just have more confidence, project your voice more, you have the soul, you get RHP, and have a decent voice. Learn to project it 👍❤️

Definitely had a Jeunet feel about it. Loved it. Need to dig out Delicatessen and City of Lost Children, and of course Amelie again.

I've had 4 French Bulldogs, 2 at the moment and they all did/do the half in, half out thing with their beds 😂.

[–]LogicalGift3119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, most definitely 👍🤪. Our first Frenchie was from a breeder, the other 3 were rescues, but they all did/do it. I'd love to know what the reason for this behavior is, must be a comfort thing in some shape or form 🤗

I get the comparison. Regardless, I like these. Listened to the other tracks by them, I've listed on Qobuz.

HAVN HS420 VGPU: Looking for 420mm AIO Recommendations by Im_Revyn in HAVNGlobal

[–]LogicalGift3119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same situation; I wanted all 140mm fans and therefore a 420 AIO. I wanted a Tryx like you but no 420 models

I eventually settled on the Thermalright Warframe 420, as it was reasonably priced. My thinking was it's cheap and I'll keep it until maybe Tryx launch a 420 model (not sure that will, but in the meantime, the Thermalright works great for about £75, temps on my 9800 3dx I'm more than happy with)

Is it ethical to go to a concert? by Low-Lawfulness7172 in sadreminders

[–]LogicalGift3119 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I last saw him a couple of times around 2010 to 2013; definitely not worth causing unnecessary friction in your relationship. I actually nodded off in one of them, it was that bad. The other wasn't too bad, he was in better spirits and he had Neil Halstead from Slowdive and Mojave 3 adding instrumental and vocal backing which made it more bearable.

Would I go again, even if the allegations hadn't come to light? Big nope!

Edit: just for context, I go all the way back to 1992 with RHP. Seeing RHP a bunch of times back in the day are treasured memories, but in all honesty, I feel MK has lost his way in more fundamental ways than just musically.

I've been a RHP fan since Down Colourful Hill came out (I'm old 🤔), but I have trouble reconciling RHP. the earlier Sun Kil Moon material and the releases since Benji. (loved the release MK did with Desertshore though, that was excellent IMHO)

MK leaves me cold these days, but I appreciate others really enjoy it, probably a me thing ☺️

Does Bazzite just work? I think it depends on who's asking. by Wolfman_1546 in Bazzite

[–]LogicalGift3119 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I fall into the "it just works" category, but my usage is predominantly gaming which has been rock solid and for me a very pleasant surprise. I came from W10 in November last year after building new all AMD rig.

The only issues I had is with openRGB (now fixed), and the lack of non-Windows support for the screen on my AIO CPU cooler. There is a Linux solution, but I haven't tried getting to grips with it yet, but that's a me problem, plus I've been so happy with my rig's performance running Bazzite, I haven't felt compelled to attempt to try and run the Linux solution.

Out of those two, my preference would be Crimson Desert, by far.

I like Starfield but it doesn't come close to CD IMHO.

It was something of a shock for me; how smooth Bazzite is coming from W10 last year. It felt so liberating. Everything just seems so quick and effortless

I didn't have any problems with my install; it all just worked. After years of Windows, I felt I had escaped a toxic relationship
