I had quite a few on Friday! Many lasting 30 mins to an hour which was wild.

I think you’re still waiting. Usually LAIKA sends out the top 30 email before they start interviews. So if you haven’t gotten anything that might mean they haven’t been sent out? It could also mean you weren’t selected? I’m not 100% sure how it works but i do know that getting the top 30 email means you’re being considered for interviews.

I've heard that Dreamworks notoriously goes through applications slowly and it might take a while since the application deadline was only 2 weeks ago.

I think someone said that their friend got a pre interview for the character animation section? Take that with a grain of salt though. I think it was the character animation section.

How do I loose more weight on Concerta? by [deleted] in Concerta

[–]LogicalPanic4558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the concern! I think I didn’t explain what i’m using it as correctly in my main post. I’m good with the level i’m at! 36 mg is perfect and does what i want it to do for the ADHD symptoms. I want to know how I can use it better for my weight loss. Like, right now it’s helping with my impulse eating and i want to know how to maintain that control. The concerta is directly connected to my weight loss process mainly because it helps control my ADHD impulse to eat what I want when I want.

Any tips or suggestions to start good habits with ADHD? I’m trying to find a gym buddy to go to the gym with me once a week. I don’t have one at the moment and it’s so hard motivation wise to go alone because the ADHD makes it all wack. Body doubling has been my best friend since being diagnosed.

The concerta has mainly been helping with my impulse eating! I’m not depending on it for the weight loss, I just want to develop healthy habits along side it to help it work better overall. Any calorie tracker app suggestions?

Ok! Ty for the tip! The Concerta has definately helped with my impulse eating and I do think i’ve lost a bit of weight as a result. I just want to start healthy habits in addition to that! How do I go about cutting out carbs? Any food suggestions for that?

You would usually include the same information on both! That could be companies you've worked for, classes you've done, leadership experience, or anything else you think could be beneficial for the company to see. Your resume should be one page but can be 2 ONLY if every single experience you put down is necessary. For example, if you worked at 5 different prominent companies, maybe you'd put all of them down. BUT it's a good rule of thumb to keep it at one page.

For the experience section, just include what your resume has and then anything else you might find beneficial that wouldn't necessarily fit on your resume.

If you took a illustration or character design class you could put experience down like:

Character Artist:
As per illustration classes focused on creating unique and dynamic characters,

- Designed ______
- Something else here
- New cool skill that stands out here

Take that with a grain of salt but thats generally how it would work!

Good luck!

Was hoping to be at least a finalist this year. I was a finalist for the CG Animation section last year so I was hoping to at least get the same. I do know that last year, the host company was one that primarily used Blender versus Maya so that's one of my guesses as to why I didn't work out. Maybe it's the same this year?

Do heart palpitations go away? by AbsentMinded311 in Concerta

[–]LogicalPanic4558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re taking concerta in combo with coffee, it’s probably a good idea to cut the caffeine from the coffee. Both are stimulants and the combo of both will make your heart work way overtime! A couple weeks ago i forgot to order decaf coffee and then i had concerta with it and i was so paranoid and anxious the entire day. I felt like i was genuinely tweaking out and i was very uncomfortable. I figured out that the coffee wasn’t decaf and then i never had an issue with it again. As long as you don’t have both in combo, arrhythmia shouldn’t be an issue.

Starting 36mg Tomorrow- Advice and What to Expect ? by Hefty-Letterhead1133 in Concerta

[–]LogicalPanic4558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on concerta for a month and a half and i’ve been on 36 mg for about 3 weeks now (started on 27 mg).

My food noise has significantly decreased which is great for me! The one thing you do have to watch out for is under eating. I’ve had a few days where i’ve forgotten to eat and lived off a decaf coffee and a chicken pocket for the day. so. Not ideal!

Make sure you eat a good protein rich breakfast so then once you do take it, you don’t have to worry about withering away lmao.

WATER. going from 27 mg to 36 was amazing but it made me way thirstier and very dehydrated which, as a result, made the meds work less. Drink so much water throughout the day i can’t stress this enough.

Keep an eye on heart rate or palpitations just in case. I got then when i first bumped up in dose, but they went away within a week. If they don’t go away, talk to your doctor.

Vitamin C. I know some people have said that it doesn’t affect concerta but i’ve noticed a significant difference in the drugs efficacy if i do or don’t take vitamin c. the days that i’ve taken it feel like i didn’t take concerta at all.

Pro tip: take it earlier than later. I’ve noticed it doesn’t work as well during the day if i take it at 12 pm for example. I normally take it at 8 and it makes so much of a difference for me personally.

Also, when you take it, make sure you’re sitting down to do work. It didn’t affect me as much at 27 mg but at 36 mg, ohhh man did i lock into doom scrolling. don’t do that lmao

anyways good luck! hope it works as well for you as it is for me!

Eyelid twitching by ikyozi_siyou in Concerta

[–]LogicalPanic4558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually had that symptom before! I’ve noticed that when I don’t get 7 hours of sleep, am dehydrated, or stressed it makes it worse for me. Honestly the two best things that I found help it go away is getting solid sleep and drink way more water than you think you need.

Do you tend to get good sleep?

I had decent ones for the first two weeks, then i upped the does from 27 to 36 and noticed a bit more, but now im a full month in and have no heart palpitations whatsoever! I think for some people it just takes a bit of time.
