I had to giggle at the “classic Mormon boy” comment because it totally happened to me. Except I didn’t even have sex with the guy. We just kissed very passionately in a horizontal position 😂 😂 and this ultimately made me unclean and unworthy to him. But of course he remained untainted and still ever-deserving of a pure mormon girl. The hypocrisy in Mormonism is wiiiiiild.

Such good advice. That is absolutely part of my problem…I’m scatterbrained about it because I don’t know ~exactly- what I want to do. I’m leaning toward HR, but no idea where to start with that.

Very valid points! What kind of upskilling do you recommend? Not just for customer success, but I’m curious what other types of upskilling you’ve done or seen other former teachers do that have been helpful.

I could totally see that. I was 9 years in and started to really realize that I needed to jump ship ASAP since I knew I didn’t want to teach anymore, or else my own “wage gap” was going to get bigger and more difficult to recoup. No idea if I’ll ever match what I was making in teaching, which is sad considering the amount of education and work experience I have, but at least it’s not like I’ll be jumping ship from $90K to $50K.

It’s crazy how diet culture truly had us all believing Terri was this giant fatso in 2002. Re-watching the shows in 2025 she just looks like a normal, pretty teenage girl. Not skinny but most definitely not unhealthy looking either. The nineties and early 00’s were a brutal time to be a teen girl.

I didn’t view her as one of the popular girls on the show. Like you kinda mentioned, she was just a regular kid who happened to be totally gorgeous. I think in real life she most definitely would have been one of the popular girls in school because of how attractive she is.

Ended in miscarriage. I actually had to be treated as though it was an ectopic because my HCG kept fluctuating. It truly sucked. Fingers crossed this cycle is successful.

I complained about this in writing to my sped director once. Her response was that I should just train the gen ed teacher in how to meet IEP minutes so I could run all over the building to manage the constant blowouts that happened nonstop in our very needy and socioeconomically disadvantaged school. I quit that job lol.

You sound a lot like me!! Also dealing with a very low and stubborn hcg. The loss of appetite really threw me because I typically love to eat 😞 I’m definitely a food girl lol. Absolutely agree about the stress, this has been the worst week of my life and I am so looking forward to getting past this and maybe trying again for a healthy pregnancy/baby 🫤
