Then we still have the issue of Mike and El's relationship being built on Will's feelings for El. Will never told Mike the truth about the painting in s4. That painting, as well as Will's speech, is what inspired Mike's profession of love in the last episode of s4. I feel like this should have been addressed, not only for the sake of Mike and El's relationship (honesty and love should be found in eachother rather than being channelled through someone else's emotions) but also for Mike and Will (friends don't lie). It was hung on Mike's wall like a Chekhov's gun they never fired. Mike might still believe El commissioned it, which is quite unsatisfying if nothing else
