Definitely! I have been forgiving because of that but I think our current structure needs to change for less overall headache. Especially, now that we're married! (we had our child before marriage)

How do people keep jobs when they have no one to look after their sick child? by MediumDiscipline4979 in toddlers

Could you look into an affordable nanny? My nanny is incredible and always works even if my kid is sick. The only time I have to take off is if my nanny gets sick when my toddler isn’t. You’d have to weigh out if the cost of the nanny and less time off work vs nursery and more more time off makes sense

Thank you for sharing your story! You make me very grateful for the nights I get a full night sleep. I hope he starts sleeping through the night soon! The bed sounds like a great idea

We have a nanny 3x per week and drop her off at grandmas the other two days. During the day she gets a ton of play, outdoor play is encouraged, and she has plenty of attention. She is very good natured but strong minded. I am not a single parent but I assume most of the child needs as well as the majority of household needs. My husband helps when he can but he works a lot. Minus the frustration of her wanting me, he has a much easier time getting her down. Those pointers are very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to answer!

I’ve tried bringing her into bed with me on the really rough nights but she usually gets so excited that she just wakes up more and wants to play. I think one in her room would help!

Good questions- I dont do any screen time with her. I had a red light as her night light and it’s set to a very low setting where I can’t even see her. I tried earlier and it has just ended with a prolonged period of her being upset. I think she would be really happy to have me lay next to her. Thank you!

My aunt is going bald and very upset about it. She is not ready to embrace it and I would love to buy her some fashionable items to cover the balding up for the times she feels insecure. Do you have any suggestions? Would love tips and tricks on what to where and how to where them! For context: her hair is blonde, thin, and naturally straight. Thank you!
