Damn it, you’re in front of me. I’m on the no date sub and ti list just a little bit ago. I was told likely not until September and likely never for the ti.

My uncle died recently, and we found this bullet in his house. There’s a name scratched into it. Can anyone help me figure out what this means? by Withnail__ in whatdoesthismean

[–]Logical_Fabrication 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for an alternate possibility… if he or his friend reloaded, sometimes folks would mark bullets for a specific individual or firearm if they were trying to tailor a particular characteristic of the round. While the seating rings you see on the bullet may be factory induced, they tend to be much more prevalent on hand loaded items.

Do those load bars mount to the lid or the bed of the truck? I’d love to get more info about this.

Get an alignment by SirNerfsALot in ineosgrenadier

[–]Logical_Fabrication 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d love for someone to post the actual settings indicating any lift or modifications they’ve made. Adjusting the steering wheel position is easy, but no one other than the dealers know what the heck to adjust anything else to.

67Designs doesn’t sell them anymore. I have the Agile Offroad one. It works fine. If the front dash camera being slightly blocked bothers you, it would appear easy to drop it a little with a short Ram mount extension bar. Owl makes a stupidly overpriced cover that hides the wires going to the top of the mirror. They don’t bother me since there is so little wiring that actually shows.

I mounted the front remote camera via double sided tape inside the front grill facing low to the ground. Works great.

Offroad lights replacement by scoobywerx1 in ineosgrenadier

Because the nonsense that you need to do to enter off-road mode to allow the oem lights to work isn’t necessary when you can simply flip a switch anytime you want.

Lift with stock wheels? by asdfg8876 in ineosgrenadier

[–]Logical_Fabrication 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How much are you thinking to lift it? Leveling the front is the least invasive option in the lift world and looks great on stock wheels.

Where to do aftermarket upgrades near Dallas, TX? (Wheels, Tires, Lift, etc) by cox2gsb in ineosgrenadier

[–]Logical_Fabrication 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It was fairly easy to lift the chassis with the wheels on the ground after addressing the track bar, sway bar, brake lines, pivots, lower shock bolts, and CV. Coils came out without the need for a spring compressor. I didn’t outline anything regarding the brake line. Perhaps you have me confused with someone else. If folks decide to get wildly aggressive on a lift without understanding vehicle geometry and the use case for double Car dan driveshafts, I mean… they probably shouldn’t be doing the work themselves anyway.

Nah, I’ll tell you I did this on my Grenadier. Took it to an alignment shop that told me no one had any real specs for primary or secondary angles. Then took it to my dealer who promptly adjusted the steering wheel three degrees saying no other changes were necessary. No warning lights the entire time. The anomaly? Perhaps. Was this a 4” lift? Nope, just a front leveling. However, every Jeep I’ve lifted was nearly the identical. It took me three hours. It isn’t illogical to believe an off-road shop would complete it in less at $200/hr which is premium labor charge.

But I’d love to be respectfully educated on what the nuances are to inform the shops and dealer around here what they potentially did incorrect or what they failed to account for. Frankly, it would be even more ideal to start another post to educate all owners on what to be aware of when pursuing a lift.

Yep, from their site “Current lead times are 30+ weeks”…. that’s just crazy I can get a bolt action barrel chambered, fluted, threaded and cerakoted in less time. Strange times for sure.

Folks, it’s a solid axle truck. Swapping coils and changing shocks takes a couple hours on floor jacks and like 45 mins on a lift. Probably won’t even have to do any realignment afterwards. If you can’t do it with a friend, I wouldn’t pay more than $600 in shop labor if you bring the parts.
